About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive self-starter to join our team and drive the growth of Ferrero’s newest premium chocolate brand: Ferrero Golden Gallery Signature.


The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for monitoring, assessing and driving Golden Gallery Signature brand performance in the marketplace to ensure delivery against budget. The ideal candidate will possess good knowledge of the retail trade structure as know-how of each class of trade will enable a more complete understanding of the business and factor in the development of new channel initiatives. This position will be based in our Parsippany, NJ office.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deeply understand the premium chocolate consumer
  • Leverage market and brand analysis to assist Brand Management in formulating brand strategy within a fast-moving consumer packaged goods category 
  • Provide routine performance updates 
  • Constantly monitor and track brand performance and initiatives 
  • Support innovation lead with artwork development 
  • Support development of consumer activation plans and manage execution 
  • Prepare and create engaging, meaningful and persuasive presentations 
  • Understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative research to inform product decision-making 
  • Utilize strong project management skills to navigate from the initial planning stage to execution and final assessment, achieving brand objectives and goals 
  • Engage and partner with Trade marketing, Sales and Supply Chain to assist in the planning and execution of new initiatives 
  • Collaborate with the legal team to safeguard company and use of its assets in interactions with third parties 
  • Efficiently manage relationships and executions with external agencies (e.g.  PR, shopper marketing, advertising, graphic design, research agencies, etc.), delivering required output while minimizing cost 
Who we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or related area of study; Master of Business Administration is a plus 
  • 2-5 years’ experience in consumer-packaged goods, particularly in brand marketing 
  • Excellent analytical skills to drive critical decision-making 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience working with consumer data; i.e. IRI, Nielsen 
  • Able to prioritize daily demands and multi-task across multiple projects to meet tight deadlines 
  • An adaptable, creative thinker and problem solver, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Bias for action, with comfort operating independently in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
  • Passion, energy and drive to grow world-class brands 
  • Motivated to advance in a merit-based, multinational organization 
  • Self-motivated and exhibits an entrepreneurial spirit 
  • Adaptable to foreign cultures 
  • Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; SAP knowledge a plus 
  • Exposure and understanding of differences between various classes of trade 
  • Foreign language (i.e.: Spanish or Italian) knowledge is a plus 
  • Product packaging development knowledge is a plus 
  • Exposure to P&L management is a plus
