About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and visionary IT Architect to join our global team in the “Center of Expertise for Consumer & E-Commerce” and drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge E-Commerce, Consumer Engagement Platforms (CX) and Consumer Data Platforms (CRM/CDP).

As an IT Architect, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing tailored IT solutions in the area of E-Commerce, Consumer Engagement (CX) and Consumer Data (CDP/CRM) Platforms, as well as supporting the team in managing and evolving our Webhosting Platform with more than 300+ websites. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive efficiency, engagement, and growth for our consumers.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Working in a global team of architects and experts geographically distributed around the world.
•    Support the architecture design, implementation and country roll-outs of our E-Commerce, Consumer Engagement (CX) and Consumer Data (CDP/CRM) Platforms, as well as the evolution of our Webhosting Platform, considering scalability, data integrity, security and performance.
•    Design and enhance end-to-end aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as Frontend, Backend, middleware technology, infrastructure components, data migration and integration scenarios. 
•    Design and control software testing guidelines, including test planning, automation and test case design for technical projects in the assigned area. 
•    Collaborate with international business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with our strategic goals and in line with enterprise architecture principles.
•    Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including system diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
•    Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to E-Commerce, Consumer Engagement (CX) and Consumer Data Platforms and recommend innovations to enhance our systems.
•    Work closely with development teams to ensure proper implementation and adherence to architectural standards and documentation.
•    Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to evaluate, integrate and migrate solutions in scope.
•    Ensure that future country rollouts are implemented as per design and following best-practice implementation standards and manage the decommissioning of legacy applications.
•    Manage major and minor upgrades of the current global platforms, coordinate needed stakeholder and work with Service Management to support achievement of Service level targets.
•    Perform technical analysis and code reviews and manage pilot projects in the area of E-Commerce, Consumer Engagement (CX) and Consumer Data (CDP/CRM) Platforms.
•    Ensures the IT procedures, guidelines and standards for regular project operations such as Testing, Monitoring, Cyber Security, Documentation and Handover to 1st & 2nd Level Support Teams are performed and maintained.
•    Perform 3rd level support for running applications in collaboration with 2nd level support teams.

Who we are looking for:

•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    Strong experience (6+ years) specializing in both E-Commerce, Consumer Engagement (CX) and Consumer Data (CDP/CRM) Platforms. 
•    Technical skills in Web and Frontend Technologies like Angular, HTML5, JS and CSS.

•    Strong Experience in Software Testing (Test Planning, Test Automation, and Test Case definition) and enterprise E-Commerce Technologies, preferably SAP Commerce Cloud. 
•    In-depth understanding of Cloud Computing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS and Kubernetes.
•    Expertise in integration techniques, API usage, and data migration. 
•    Experience in Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket), CI/CD and agile software development principles.
•    Experience with Drupal CMS is considered as a plus.
•    Experience with SAP CX Suite (SAP Emarsys, SAP CDC, SAP CDP) is considered as a plus.
