About the Role:
We have a current opening for a Capex and Innovation Controller and are actively reviewing resumes.
As a finance leader you will support capital investment planning and innovation business cases across North America. This role partners closely with R&D, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and commercial teams to evaluate new product opportunities, assess profitability through building business cases, and guide investment decisions. You will build financial models, develop recommendations for major stakeholders and leadership, monitor results against approved plans, and help shape decisions that drive growth and operational performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build financial models and business cases for innovation and capital investment initiatives.
- Partner across functions to develop forecasts, costing inputs, and profitability analyses for new products.
- Prepare investment recommendations and presentation materials for leadership review.
- Support capital planning, spend tracking, and long-term investment analysis.
- Evaluate make-versus-buy scenarios and other strategic investment options.
- Monitor actual results versus approved business cases and highlight key risks and variances.
- Support monthly close, forecast, budget, and long-range planning activities for R&D and innovation.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required
- 8+ years of experience in finance, controlling, FP&A, or commercial finance.
- Strong experience in financial modeling, business case development, and investment analysis.
- Solid understanding of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or consumer products environments preferred.
- Ability to turn complex financial data into clear recommendations for business partners and senior leaders.

Compensation Data
The base salary range for this position is $142,016 - $189,355 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
