Brand Manager, Premium Chocolate Holiday & Everyday
About the Role:
You’ll collaborate closely with Category Management and Trade Marketing to build compelling sell‑in stories and toolkits, and you’ll lead agency partners in developing high‑impact creative, assets, and shopper activations that feel premium, cohesive, and unmistakably on‑brand across every touchpoint.
Cross‑functional partnership is core to your success—working with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to bring initiatives to life smoothly and cost‑effectively. You’ll also craft persuasive presentations and confidently share your thinking with senior leadership. This position is hybrid, based out of our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ.
Main Responsibilities:
- In-depth market, competitive and brand analysis to assist in defining strategy
- Analyzes competition, business and brand results to ensure strategies are working and objectives are being realized; recommending course correction where relevant
- Prepares and creates engaging, meaningful and persuasive presentations
- Owns and actively manages brand marketing budget
- Leads qualitative and quantitative market research briefing through to interpreting results and making recommendations for innovation and renovation
- Works closely with Category management and Trade Marketing to develop compelling sell-in stories/toolkits to ensure customer acceptance of innovation
- Leads agency partners in creative development, asset development and execution of consumer and shopper activation
- Ensures coherency across all consumer and shopper touchpoints to drive cohesive and impactful messaging and trademark consistency in all communications
- Participates in brand and communication planning with interagency team
- Sets and tracks KPIs, offering recommendations for optimization of plans/assets
- Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Inter-departmental engagement with Trade Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Legal to assist in the planning and execution of new initiatives
- Able to efficiently manage relations with third party vendors (i.e.: graphic design agencies, research agencies, etc.), obtaining required output while minimizing costs
- Comfortable presenting to senior management
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in business; Masters degree in Business is a plus
- 4-6 years’ experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing
- Experience working with syndicated databases; i.e. IRI, ACNielsen
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects on schedule
- Possesses solid project management skills from planning stage to execution in order to achieve brand objectives
- Well-versed in Budget Management & Forecasting
- Understands nuances of food, drug, mass, club and e-commerce classes of trade
- Experience working in business unit/country team within a global organization is a must
- Passion, energy and drive to work with world-class brands
- Must be self-motivated and exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit
- Structured and organized in managing projects and timelines
- Excellent analytical skills upon which to base decision-making
- Business acumen, with a knack for turning data into insights and recommendations
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments
- Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; SAP knowledge a plus

The base salary range for this position is $118,661 - $158, 215 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
