Associate Brand Manager, Nutella Core
About the Role:
We have a current opening for a Associate Brand Manager, Nutella Core and are actively reviewing applications.
The Associate Brand Manager supports the Nutella Core and Nutella Peanut businesses and will be responsible for monitoring, assessing and driving brand performance for the Nutella Spreads portfolio in the marketplace to ensure delivery against budget. This requires someone who possesses good knowledge of the retail trade structure as know-how of each class of trade will enable a more complete understanding of the business and factor into the development of new channel initiatives.
In this role, you will provide in-depth market and brand analysis to support Nutella Brand Management in developing brand strategy within a fast-moving consumer packaged goods category. Success requires strong project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from planning through execution and post-assessment to achieve brand objectives and goals. The role also demands effective cross-functional collaboration with Trade Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and other functions to support the planning and execution of new initiatives.
This position is a hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) and will be based in our Parsippany, NJ office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provides monthly Nutella performance updates delivering thorough analysis and key findings
- Proactively monitors and tracks brand performance and initiatives; provides additional ad hoc consumption data reporting
- Capacity to understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative research for business purposes
- Maintains full understanding of the competitive environment to assess impact on business
- Prepares and creates engaging, meaningful and persuasive presentations
- Manages all product commercialization activities, including artwork development and revisions, while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time execution and successful market implementation.
- Supports Brand Manager in management and execution of brand social media strategy
- Responsible for executing PO requests, creating service entries and tracking invoices; ensures ease of monthly budget reconciliation through diligent documentation of these actions
- Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Able to prioritize daily demands to meet tight deadlines
- Collaboration with legal department to safeguard company and use of its assets in interactions with third parties
- Able to efficiently manage relations with third party vendors (i.e.: graphic design agencies, research agencies, etc.), obtaining required output while minimizing costs
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred. MBA in Marketing is a plus.
- 1-3 years’ experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing or related field
- Excellent analytical skills upon which to base decision-making
- Displays rigorous attention to detail and maintains high standards for the quality and accuracy of deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines
- Team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments
- Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills
- Experience working with brand social media platforms is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail
- Demonstrated team-first mindset and willingness to step in wherever needed to support brand priorities and ensure successful outcomes
- Experience working in a matrixed environment and partnering with global stakeholders is a plus
- Experience working with consumer data; i.e. Circana (previously IRI), ACNielsen

The base compensation range for this position is $88,000.00 - $118,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
