About the Role:

As the Associate Brand Manager for Kinder Joy, you will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and driving brand performance in the marketplace to ensure the successful delivery of strategic plans. In this role, you will leverage your analytical capabilities to provide dynamic performance insights and apply your creative skills to develop impactful packaging and communications deliverables.

 

You will conduct in-depth market and brand analysis to support the Kinder Joy brand management team in shaping strategy within a fast-moving consumer packaged goods category. Your strong project management skills—from planning through execution to final assessment—will be essential to achieving brand objectives and goals.

 

Additionally, you will collaborate across departments, engaging with Trade Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain to help plan and execute new initiatives. Your ability to work cross-functionally will ensure alignment and efficiency in bringing brand strategies to life.

Main Responsibilities:

  • New Product Launches and Commercialization
    • Leads the cross-functional team (project planning, development and execution)
    • Manage all artwork creation, approvals and delivery, including liaising with cross functional team and global stakeholders
    • Interacts with global teams for activity grid alignments and approvals
    • Works closely with Category management and Trade Marketing to develop compelling sell-in stories/toolkits to ensure customer acceptance of innovation

 

  • Communications Planning and Execution
    • Collaborates with agencies in creative and asset development for use in consumer and shopper activations
    • Sets and tracks KPIs, offering recommendations for optimization of plans/assets
    • Lead social agency on content calendar creation, evaluating against strategy and coordinating internal reviews to increase brand equity via social channels and grow social engagement
    • Manage brand presence at key industry and consumer events, such as trade shows, sales samples and agency requests

 

  • Leadership and self-management
    • Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to prioritize daily demands to meet tight deadlines 
    • Cross functional integration and engagement
    • Able to lead relations with agencies (PR, media, packaging)
    • Prepares and creates engaging, meaningful and persuasive presentations
    • Maintains full understanding of the competitive environment to assess impact on business 

Who we are looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business; Master’s degree in Business is a plus
  • At least 5 years’ experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing
  • Interest and knowledge in the Brand Experience, Analytics and Communications (specifically, Campaign Management)
  • Consumer market curiosity to find opportunities beyond the day-to-day results delivery that will create the future growth of brands
  • Exposure to the basics of delivering marketing campaigns, and understands how to plan and execute a marketing or shopper campaign
  • Works with external agencies through multiple project lifecycles
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead internal and external partners in brand/business initiatives with proven results
  • Exposure and full understanding of the P&L drivers and drainers
  • Manages A&P, explains adjustments based on financial processes, reconciling POs, contracts and working with legal on SOWs and MSAs
  • Has led conversations on relevant projects in weekly meetings with cross functional teams while working autonomously to ensure on-time delivery
  • Demonstrates knowledge of relevant Consumer & Shopper insights
  • Exposure or ownership of forecasting demand from a particular product or brands/business
  • Creates impactful business presentations, crafts the story by using analytics, presents findings to leadership and answers any questions
  • Mastered knowledge of Circana/Nielson, resulting in an overall understanding of category analytics and the ability to craft the story telling for Sales and Innovation teams

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $84,084.00 - $112,111.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
