Trade Business Intelligence (TBI) Analyst

About the Role:
As the Trade Business Intelligence (TBI) Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in creating, maintaining, troubleshooting and improving Ferrero Canada’s commercial systems. You will take ownership of improving our commercial capabilities that enable sales, finance, trade marketing, supply chain and IT teams to plan and report on the business with timely and accurate data. You will create, maintain and leverage multiple data sources- from internal shipping and financial transactions to external customer POS/sell out data, this role provides considerable insight into the organization.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-locally and globally, plus interface with external consultants—giving you broad exposure and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization.
This role is based in our office located at 100 Sheppard Avenue East, North York, ON M2N 6N5 and is hybrid.
Main Responsibilities:
TECHNOLOGY AND PROCESS DEVLOPMENT
• Support the continuous enhancement and optimization of Sales technologies and reporting tools (SAP TMA & SAC), ensuring solutions meet evolving business needs and operational requirements
• Actively participate in system testing (unit, UAT, regression), ensuring alignment to blueprints and highlight gaps
• Partner with cross-functional teams and cross-country partners to identify common solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
TRAINING AND DEVLOPMENT
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing training, guidance, and mentorship to new hires in sales and trade marketing
• Develop and maintain end-user manuals, process documentation, and learning materials to support SAP TMA & SAC
• Act as a trusted partner and first-contact for Canadian sales users to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Conduct regular reinforcement training as business needs arise
• Receive issues from cross-functional teams; assess, prioritize, and triage issues considering business impact
• Collaborate with internal IT partners and external consultants to deliver timely solutions, while employing workarounds to minimize disruption to business operations.
FINANCIAL REPORTING
• Retrieve, review and consolidate monthly reporting of various financial KPIs to cross-functional teams
MASTER DATA MAINTENANCE
• Day-to-day management of master data preparation processes, ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of master data for approximately 400 SKUs annually
• Partner with Trade Marketing, Marketing, and Marketing Operations to coordinate and validate accurate master data across multiple platforms
• Perform validation and quality control of data within internal and external systems (e.g., GS1 ProSync), ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Administer and maintain master data of sell-out databases by executing data cleansing activities to ensure accurate databases at all times
• Identify opportunities to improve data management processes and recommend enhancements that strengthen decision-making, reporting quality, and cross-functional alignment
COMPANY PLAN CALENDAR AND COMPANY DASHBOARD
• Develop, launch and maintain a Company Dashboard to monitor critical organizational KPIs (for example, customer sell-out, distribution, profitability), by integrating various data sources into one interface
COMMERCIAL POLICIES
• Uphold all Ferrero Commercial Polices and ensure the governance, risk management and compliance is at the forefront of any process review
About You:
• BA in Business, Finance or a related field
• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of trade, sales management procedures and processes
• Knowledge of financial management concepts and principles as they apply to Sales and Marketing
• Familiarity with database design and reporting methodologies
• Familiarity with Canadian retail landscape and consumer goods environment
• Knowledge of project management fundamentals
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Knowledge of Powerpoint and Word
• Asset, but not required: knowledge of SAP applications – SAP TMA, TPM, TCM, BI, SAC
