Marketing Intern - Premium Chocolate

We are looking for highly motivated individuals, who currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution or a recent graduate in Finance, Business or Accounting, to join our Canada Commercial Early Career Program.
The Ferrero Early Career Internship program is designed to let participants explore Ferrero while putting their skills to work. Working at Ferrero early in your career is a unique and challenging experience, and we often have permanent placements after the program. Even more importantly, our Early Career program can help participants understand where they want to focus their talent and take the first step towards a career at Ferrero.
The Ferrero Early Career Program provides participants with the technical and leadership skills they will need to build a successful career within Ferrero.
This program will support participants in understanding the "Ferrero Way" and how Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance & Sales concepts are applied in the CPG industry.
Over the course of the program, participants will attend a variety of training courses and programs that will set them up for success in future roles. These include but are not limited to:
- New Hire Orientation
- E-Learning
- Plant Tour
- Store Visit
- A business project specific to the function that will be presented to the Leadership Team at the end of the program
- Onsite work experience within Sales, Marketing & Trade Marketing
- Soft skills training (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Presentation Delivery Skills)
Throughout the program, they will receive support from a mentor to help them understand their strengths and weaknesses, plan their development, and help them build up the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare them for their career. In addition, their mentor will also conduct performance evaluations outlining their areas of development for future success.
At Ferrero, we value entrepreneurship, therefore, participants will also have the opportunity to participate in a local business project within their assigned function and to present their findings to management.
Once the ECP has been successfully completed and providing availability, the participant will be placed in a specific field of expertise which will further develop their skills in their area of specialization.
This position is 8-months (September 2026 - April 2027), hybrid, and will be based in our Canadian offices in North York, ON.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support product launches and relaunches, ensuring timelines and materials stay on track
- Assist with packaging updates and artwork setup across cross-functional stakeholders
- Coordinate media and content assets with internal teams and external agencies
- Manage product samples and shipment logistics for internal and external use
- Track Statements of Work (SOWs) and Purchase Orders (POs) to support budget and vendor management
- Conduct competitive, category, and industry analyses to inform marketing decisions
- Support market performance tracking using tools like Nielsen and other syndicated data sources
- Help ensure retail and launch readiness across channels
- Provide project coordination support across Marketing, Shopper, Media, Sales, and agency partners
- Assist in building launch presentations, timelines, and internal communications
About You:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or recent graduate)
- Rising junior or senior preferred
- Completed coursework in marketing, consumer behavior, or data analysis
- Exposure to market research, analytics, or business strategy concepts
- Hands-on experience through internships, class projects, or case competitions in marketing or business an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work on team-based projects in an academic or extracurricular setting
- Strong interest in brand management, marketing, or the CPG industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience using Excel for data analysis is a plus
- Strong interest in marketing, brand management, or CPG
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly
- Collaborative and comfortable working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Agencies, etc.)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

The base compensation for this position is $23.00/hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
