About the Role:

As the Key Account Manager, On-the-Go & Distributor, you’ll take the lead in driving strategic growth across a diverse portfolio of customers—including distributors, convenience, vending, and other banners.


You’ll work within Ferrero Canada’s commercial strategies to optimize distribution, display, and promotions, while building impactful seasonal programs that elevate sales, market share, and profitability.

 

In this role, you’ll be accountable for building and executing annual strategic plans tailored to your customers, ensuring strong performance across net sales, trade spend, and sales fundamentals. Your ability to connect insights with action will be key to delivering superior results and strengthening Ferrero’s presence in the market.

 

This position is Remote, but candidates should ideally be based out of the GTA.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development

  • Apply Fact-Based Selling, Category Management, and ROI analysis to drive top- and bottom-line growth.
  • Identify opportunities, gaps, and risks, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Execute strategies to maximize profitable trade promotional activity, including flyer ads, displays, and customer-specific promotions.

 

Distributor & Customer Management

  • Support distributor sales development through product education, promotional planning, and internal collaboration.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships across key departments and organizational levels.

 

Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead volume and trade forecasting aligned with budget targets.
  • Manage trade budgets and ensure accurate financial planning.

 

Field Sales & Communication

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with field sales teams to ensure alignment and execution of plans.

 

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Oversee deduction management and other administrative tasks related to trade and customer operations.

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree required; 4–7 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including wholesale suppliers and retail customers.
  • Strong skills in customer relationship management and building collaborative environments.
  • Proficient in communicationnegotiationpresentation, and financial literacy.
  • Experience in sales promotion planning, including execution of programs and events.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian retail and distribution network is a plus.
