About the Role:

You have always loved it, now be part of it! As the eCommerce Manager, you will drive Ferrero Canada's eCommerce ambitions and support this rapidly growing channel by managing core fundamentals such as eContent management and conducting business development analysis and recommendations.

 

This position is HYBRID and is based out of the Ferrero Canada offices in North York.

Main Responsibilities:

eContent development and management

  • Manages relationships with Global eCommerce, U.S. eContent teams and creative agencies to identify eContent gaps and localize relevant eContent.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams, including sales and trade marketing teams, to ensure catalog accuracy and facilitate requirements for a best-in-class new product launches and setups.
  • Leads the Digital Shelf setup and ongoing content updates, including basic product information, marketing text, product images, and A+ content, ensuring all content is current and ready for eCommerce activations.
  • Collaborates with brand teams to create content plans and enhance brand presence on retailer pages, providing input into brand briefs to ensure eCommerce content is included.

 

Digital Shelf Excellence

  • Lead My Perfect eStore implementation with Global eShopper team, aligning 
  • Digital Shelf KPIs and Scorecards to global and local reporting standards
  • Utilizes data and insights to recommend digital shelf optimizations, including ratings and reviews, merchandising, promotions, and availability.
  • Manages Digital Shelf Health reporting, providing real-time insights to cross-functional teams (e.g., brands, sales teams, agencies) to enhance digital shelf execution and boost sales, and regularly update the brand and customer teams with monthly scorecards featuring digital shelf health scores across all brands and top three retailer online platforms.
  • Conducts competitive and customer benchmarking to ensure Ferrero maintains a strong online presence for content and share of shelf.
  • Leads search engine optimization initiatives, including seasonal updates and shopper mission-related enhancements and identifying key words and phrases that must be leveraged within our product content
  • Maintains and updates all Source of Truth files to ensure accuracy and reliability.

 

Business Development and Performance Analytics / eCategory Management

  • Lead business reviews and develop plans that identify opportunities and risks within the eCommerce channel with action steps to realize opportunities or mitigate risks
  • Create and maintain ongoing reporting processes, including Scorecards, to brief senior-level executives on channel and market dynamics.
  • Analyze Ferrero’s online performance, considering all customers, categories, and competitors to understand key performance drivers, risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing support with Global eCommerce reporting requirements 

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • 4+ years’ experience, preferably within related area.
  • Experience in CPG, familiarity with the Canadian marketplace and retail customers
  • Understanding of online shoppers and fundamentals of online category management
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong ability to manage data and interpret data to drive actionable insights
  • Working knowledge of the Digital Shelf and it’s components (eContent, search, availability)
  • Previous experience with eCommerce content development and management
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities
  • Knowledge of NielsenIQ data, customer POS platforms, and digital shelf analytics
  • Project management experience with proven ability to lead & motivate multi-functional teams
  • Detail oriented with a bias towards action (self- starter) and comfortable with ambiguity 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
