Customer Revenue Manager

About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Customer Revenue Manager and are actively reviewing applications.

This role is responsible for developing and implementing Ferrero Canada’s Customer Trade Investment Strategies.
    Own Trade Investment Strategies at a customer level
    ROI analysis, insights and strategy
    Ensure fair treatment across customers
    Ensure Ferrero Canada compliance with Global Strategies
Outcome: Profitable trade investment strategies at a customer level, in compliance with Ferrero Group policies. 
This role works cross functionally with Sales, TM, Finance, SBD, Leadership Team. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

TRADE TERMS & PROMO MANAGEMENT
•    Lead trade investment strategies at a customer level including trade terms structure, customer profitability, profit pool, and ROI analysis:
•    Track and analyze trade investment at a customer level.  Understand commercial implications and derive insights from the analysis.  
•    Develop and implement trade strategies to drive profitable growth and maximize working trade investments
•    Lead promotional ROI analysis, insights, and strategy at a customer level
•    Ensure fair treatment across customers
•    Ensure Ferrero Canada compliance with Global Strategies 


PRICING OPTIMIZATION
•    Measure the Profit Pool and define the Revenue Management actions plan to drive it as per company’s objectives 
•    Define and drive the execution of the 3N price strategy per channel/key customer according to Ferrero Group and Area Guidelines


PRODUCT MIX OPTIMIZATION
•    Define customer strategies to optimize product mix


CUSTOMER PLANNING and JOINT BUSINESS PLANNING
•    Partner with Sales in customer review process and provide Revenue Management recommendations
•    Partner with Sales on customer planning focusing on trade strategies, terms and structure
•    Ongoing tracking of customer performance vs. plan
•    Key supporting role in customer negotiations
•    Key supporting role in JBPs 


COMMERCIAL POLICY GOVERNANCE
•    Ensure customer trade strategies align with Ferrero commercial policies
•    Conduct compliance audits for key areas of the policy:
•    Documentation of retailer proof of performance
•    Promotional ROI analysis
•    Deductions management spot checks

About You:

•    4-7 years of relevant professional experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
•    Knowledge of the Canadian market and retail environment
•    Knowledge of financial management concepts and principles as they apply to Sales and Marketing
•    Sales experience is a plus
•    Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
•    Knowledge of Trade Management systems and SAP is a plus – SAP ECC, SAP TPM, SAP TCM, SAP BI
•    Superior analytic skills, and ability to work confidently with large amounts of data
•    Ability to conceptualize and present the big picture
•    Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
•    Ability to work effectively with others, both cross functionally and at various levels in the organization, as well as the ability to work independently without guidance
•    Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
•    Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) in both a one-to-one and group environment

The base compensation range for this position is $84,000 - 112,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

 

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
