Category Management, Shelf Projects and Space Planning
About the Role:
We have a current opening for Category Management, Shelf Projects and Space Planning and are actively reviewing applications.
Act as the main point of reference internally and with customers concerning the Shelf Quality and Space Planning for all Ferrero categories. Accountable for the development and implementation of the permanent and semi-permanent category merchandising strategy, including main shelf planogram recommendations and semi-permanent secondary merchandising solutions testing. Support the strategic management of Trade Marketing, improving Customer Category Management to enhance visibility and shelf quality for the Ferrero portfolio ensuring that trade and shopper dimensions are captured.
Main Responsibilities:
SHELF, SPACE PLANNING & POINT OF SALE
• Responsible and main point of contact for the customer for Shelf/ Space planning recommendations and projects for all Categories, in line with Ferrero priorities.
• Responsible for Customer planograms recommendations and indications on how to place the products on the shelves for all categories, in line with Ferrero guidelines.
• Responsible and single point of contact externally and internally for leading the development and execution of Merchandising solutions projects and tests in line with Ferrero Company priorities.
• Build category growth selling stories and category Shelf and total store semi- permanent vision.
• Develop retail mix levers standards aligned with Trade categories priorities to support sales negotiation (i.e. shelf, secondary placement, checkouts current visibility vs target)
• Drive MyPerfectStore Implementation and results.
• Support Marketing on New Product Development (NPD) activities to ensure category and shopper dynamic and trends are reflected in a proper way.
• Establish effective Category Management and Merchandising Management tools, resources, partnerships, processes and meeting cycles to raise local capabilities.
• Develop Recommendations for the development of Customer Category Management capability and capacity as part of the Ferrero PS Process and Business Case.
SHOPPER INSIGHTS AND ANALYSIS
• Develop capabilities about shopper insights relating to the Shopping journey and merchandising solutions.
• Monitor and analyze trade, competitors and shopper data and activities related to merchandising to identify business opportunities and develop new category development plans.
• Manage shopper KPIs analysis and understanding for the assigned projects.
About You:
• Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of related experience
• Proven experience in process and project management
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Retail landscape
• Strong knowledge of Category Management and Syndicated data
• Strong Knowledge of Space Management Software
• Budget Management Experience
• Strong Knowledge of industry best practices
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint & Word
• Strong Knowledge of Ferrero Company, brands, strategy and Perfect Store Models

The base compensation range for this position is $101,987 - 135,528. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
