About the Role:

The role is aimed to support the Trade Marketing/Shopper Activation team in implementing best in class in-store activation, in alignment with brand, shopper, category and Point of Sale (POS) vision. The position has individual responsibility for Tic Tac across ANZ in all channels, and provides operational support across all other Ferrero brands as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Formulate Retail Activation (POS) plans as part of agreed campaign activities and drive the POS process across the brands from briefing to delivery of impactful displays

  • Identify and lead business development opportunities to optimise the POS plans

  • Conduct regular field visits with shopper/retail operations teams to monitor Ferrero POS impact in stores and stay aware of competitor activity

  • Ensure timely and concise communication between respective teams on all activation elements

  • Liaise with regional and global teams for POS feedback and approvals

  • Manage the effective, timely internal communication for all display material and liaise with suppliers to ensure effective sourcing

  • Manage suppliers with reviews by activity by session in order to highlight positives and improvements, hold accountability for meeting activation timelines and general terms and conditions

  • Work cross functionally to build effective shopper marketing plans and engage with sales, marketing and retailers to develop and deploy assets

  • Brief creative agency using relevant briefing document, liaise with Marketing for approval on artwork

  • Ensure key activations are robustly evaluated, with learnings fed back into planning cycles

  • Raise packaging purchase orders in SAP, lead “housekeeping” of Packaging Codes for all brands

  • Compile “ordered vs. delivered” report on all brands POS orders and report back to suppliers and internal teams on any shortfalls

  • Monitor stock on hand (SOH) reports and report back to respective functions on packaging materials suitable for movement or destruction

  • Monitor delivery reports and advise the Field Sales Team accordingly of deliveries

  • Update POS Catalogue template by Session to include POSM images and specifications, ensure its availability for the Field Sales by timeline outlined

  • Liaise with print/production supplier to ensure POSM samples are made available for display for showcase meetings

  • Ensure correct storage and recycling of all POSMs

  • Create new Barcodes for prepacks, raise AURP Codes

  • Liaise with Business Units on pre-pack requirements: communicating deadlines, creating new prepack units/ configurations, checking pre-pack matrix for account requirements

  • Organise travel tests, review results and communicate to teams;  ensure meetings have appropriate coaching on new POS builds

  • Assist in managing quotes and updating finance tracker, with the measurement of POS spend, manage budget reporting by activity

  • Service receipting invoices and reconciliation

  • Manage trade advertising (catalogue and trade press) activities for all accounts

  • Organise trade press bookings for Independents and Food Service and manage the Expo Stand Artwork for key accounts

 

Who we are looking for:

 

  • University degree

  • Relevant experience acquired in the similar roles, and/or commercial experience in field sales or sales coordination roles in FMCG industry

  • High orientation to detail, analytical capabilities, result orientation

  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced communication skills, cross-teams collaboration skills

  • Effective time management and high adaptability to changing environment

  • Ability to work under own initiative, at a good pace with solid deliverables

  • Advanced MS Office knowledge, SAP proficiency is of a strong plus
