Senior National Account Manager

About the Role:

Ferrero Australia is seeking an experienced Senior National Account Manager to lead the strategic and day‑to‑day management of key customer accounts. This role plays a central part in driving sustainable growth, delivering strong commercial results, and executing Ferrero’s point‑of‑purchase excellence across range, shelf, display, and promotional activity. Working in close partnership with cross‑functional teams, the role focuses on building strong customer relationships through Ferrero’s triple win approach—creating value for consumers, customers, and the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day‑to‑day management of assigned national accounts to deliver sales targets and commercial objectives
  • Develop and execute customer strategies aligned with Ferrero’s business priorities
  • Build trusted, long‑term relationships with customer buying and replenishment teams
  • Support senior sales leadership in customer engagement as required
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional plans, case deals, and activation activity
  • Lead negotiations on cost price changes with relevant wholesalers and retailers
  • Own accurate sales forecasting for assigned customers
  • Manage trade and A&P spend within agreed budgets
  • Ensure accurate and timely trade accruals and claims processing in SAP TM
  • Partner closely with demand planning, supply chain, and commercial planning teams to ensure alignment
  • Deliver clear, timely reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) to key stakeholders
  • Develop and communicate effective field activation briefs to support strong in‑store execution
  • Coach and support the development of the team, demonstrating inclusive and effective people leadership

About You:

  • University degree in Business, Management or related field
  • Experience in national account management or a similar commercial role within FMCG MNC
  • Solid understanding of Australian retail and customer dynamics
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, solid analytical capability, including use of scan and shopper data
  • Confident stakeholder communication and relationship management, highly collaborative, inclusive, and customer‑focused
  • Results‑driven with a disciplined and structured approach, committed to continuous learning and development
  • Experience managing trade investment and forecasting
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast‑paced environments; comfortable managing ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools; SAP experience is an advantage
