About the Role:
Line Leaders will take responsibility for the actions and output of a group of associates. Line Leaders are expected to work cooperatively and supportively of each other, the task at hand, and company goals and policies with respect to efficiency, quality, safety, and sanitation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Must be willing to direct the actions and activities of others and ensure all associates on the line are working safely and following all cGMPs.
- Complete all paperwork necessary for the line.
Operational
- Line Leaders are required to oversee several pieces of equipment; including molding lines, Carle wrappers and bagging.
- Report any mechanical issues to manager or maintenance.
- Required to perform all duties in accordance with company SOPs, SSOPs, cGMPs, and guidelines listed in the company handbook.
- Required to set up the line for production; including retrieving items from the model.
- Responsible for overseeing line sanitation and ensuring proper clean up at the end of the shift.
- Ensure proper quality standards are maintained, including labeling and/or date codes are correct, following quality specifications and all packaged items contain the correct material from the model.
- Responsible for achieving and assisting in recording production numbers and be aware of the standard line speeds and staffing and attain those goals.
- Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems and work safely, and efficiently.
Who we are looking for:
Education or Experience
- Understanding of basic arithmetic, reading level to understand instructions, policies, and procedures.
Physical
- Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, frequently repeated manual tasks; moving pallets with a pallet jack.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Understand current quality standards.
Computer Skills
- Basic computer skills (inventory, printing structures, etc.)
