Hazelnut Company Chile - Maintenance Manager
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to to join our team in the Hazelnut Company Chile, who will lead the comprehensive maintenance management of our industrial plant, ensuring operational continuity, equipment reliability, and the efficiency of our production processes.
Your purpose will be to plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance activities, manage the budget and investments for the area, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and security regulations. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting facility improvement projects and the optimal operation of critical plant services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and supervise the maintenance plan and budget (ensuring the availability of spare parts and materials necessary for the optimal operation of plant machinery), according to Group guidelines and target.
- Assign maintenance activities according to the team's specialties and skills, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Design and review maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
- Contract, evaluate, and technically manage external suppliers and services, ensuring technical quality, efficiency, and compliance with established agreements.
- Lead improvement projects in the facilities, aimed at optimizing plant processes related to the maintenance area.
- Establish work standards and procedures to ensure the optimal operation of equipment and facilities, applying appropriate mechanisms for each type of intervention (motors, tools, devices, industrial systems).
- Comply with quality, safety, and security regulations, promoting the monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of production processes, and supporting the creation of technical instructions.
- Actively collaborate in any activity organized as a professional family: at local, HCo and/or Industrial level.
Requirements:
Educational background:
Mechanical engineer with experience in electronics/automation.
Professional experience:
- About 5 years in similar positions in production plants or machinery maintenance.
- Experience in multinational companies is desirable.

- Previous experience in SAP preferred

- Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English
