About the Role:
In Ferrero, we value the delivery of our goods and products to arrive in the best conditions and in the most efficient way, and it is our Supply Chain Department who is responsible for ensuring the compliance with the standards and regulations as well.
For our Supply Chain Department, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Specialist reporting to Industrial Supply Chain Manager.
As Warehouse Specialist, you will lead the day-to-day efforts of the Warehouse operations, ensuring warehouses (internal and external) operating 100% compliant with Ferrero standards and procedures. Main Responsibilities:
- Lead to manage and conduct periodic inventory counting for warehouses (Finished Good, Raw&Packaging Materials, 3PL Warehouses),
- Conduct and monitor weekly, monthly and annual cycle count and manage materials movements to ensure stock accuracy between physical stock and SAP,
- Ensure ERP movements and physical movements are synchronized in real time and ERP records are always in line with physical inventory,
- Manage and follow up Warehouse & Ferrero inventory integration projects ,
- Ensure all warehouse policies, procedures, quality requirements and contract conditions are followed,
- Report storage capacity, operation speed and working hours/shift requirements in warehouse operations and develop structured and realistic solutions to put in place,
- Follow up and implement the actions for warehouses regarding the health&safety, quality and internal audits,
- Recommend, activate and monitor proactive measures in warehouse operations (such as use of addressing, use of terminals in GRs and GIs),
- Identify operational problems encountered during warehouse operations and designing and monitoring the implementation of corrective/preventive actions,
- Visiting warehouses before new supplier agreements and checking compliance with Ferrero processes.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering,
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role,
- Experience in inventory management, stacking of pallets, rack types,
- Strong communication skills, capable of working in a multicultural environment,
- Team player with a positive and co-operative attitude,
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish,
- Proficient in MS Office applications; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
