Import & Export Specialist
About the Role:

For our Supply Chain Department, we are currently looking for an Import & Export Specialist who will be mainly responsible for import and export processes related with the plant processes. This is a Manisa based position, reporting to the Import & Export Team Leader. If you believe your experience aligns with the responsibilities outlined below, we welcome your application!
Main Responsibilities:
- Follow up import & export operations for relevant materials and verifying that all documentation adheres to import policies and laws,
- Co-ordinate export process for related materials starting from controlling all the necessities for customer including production plan of all finished goods that is going to be exported, take necessary actions for OTIF, create all the documents and coordinate all 3PL and in necessary cases, managing custom clearance imported raw&packing materials and technical materials
- Co-ordinate all related stakeholders as a part of import/export operations (such as suppliers, internal customers, third party transportation companies and consultancies)
- Follow up the Import & Export regulations and inward processing (DİİB) support documentation process for incentive usage at factory and coordinate consultancy relationship for incentives,
- Creating purchase orders in SAP and process invoices on time, coordinating with the accounting department.
- Prepare Supply Chain reports related to his/her area of responsibility,
- Bring ideas and give insights for process optimization and cost savings,
- Follow up the project’s execution related to processes optimization and supply chain strategy,
- Evaluate continuously operation need for Import & Export processes and create alternatives to optimize warehouse and storage cost,
- Ensure optimum truck and container utilization
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree,
- Preferably 2+ years experience,
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Office,
- Fluency in English and Turkish,
- Good planning and strong communication skills,
- Decision making and problem-solving ability,
- Project management experience and continuous improvement mindset.
