About the Role:
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading key account management activities across the region, ensuring the achievement of ambitious sales targets and building long-term customer relationship management strategies. Close collaboration with Area Managers and Customer Team Managers will allow you to align initiatives and maximize performance. Moreover, you will handle contract negotiation, develop compelling sales arguments together with trade marketing and category management, and identify new business development opportunities within the retail channel.
A strong analytical component will be part of your daily work, as you will manage and interpret P&L management, oversee sales forecasting, and ensure accurate commercial planning. Additionally, you will monitor promotions, guarantee flawless execution, and leverage data-driven sales insights using tools such as MS Excel analysis and PowerPoint reporting to support decision-making and continuously optimize results.
About You:
Success in this role comes from a combination of strategic thinking, drive, and relationship-building skills. You bring experience within leading FMCG environments and feel confident managing clients in the Modern Trade channel within the Madrid region while consistently delivering strong results. A background in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field supports your solid understanding of financials, including P&L management, and your ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Beyond technical expertise, your personality makes the difference. You are proactive, decisive, and comfortable navigating complex environments, while remaining highly organized and detail-oriented. Additionally, your communication and negotiation skills enable you to influence stakeholders, build trust with key partners, and effectively manage relationships with major regional and national retail accounts. Fluency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with experience in analytical platforms, strengthens your ability to thrive in a data-driven sales environment.
Ideally, you bring strong knowledge of the Madrid market, including its highly competitive retail landscape, customer structure, and evolving consumer trends. This local expertise will enable you to identify growth opportunities, tailor commercial strategies, and successfully drive business performance across one of Spain’s most strategic and dynamic regions.
