About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg we are looking for an Analysis & Planning Analyst who will be reporting to the chief of Analysis & Planning Manager within the Finance Group Planning & Controlling.    

Main Responsibilities:

 

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the Group Controller during the GMT preparation process. This involves drafting the Business Update chapter, where your responsibilities include coordinating, consolidating, and critically assessing inputs from various areas and functions. Your role will also encompass providing any necessary analyses to enhance the quality of the Business Update

 

Working closely with the Group Controller, Group CFO, and CEO staff, you will contribute to the elaboration of CEO guidelines. This involves consolidating inputs from different functions and areas, developing targets on both top and bottom lines, and preparing analyses and presentations. Your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams will be crucial in executing these tasks. 

 

You will actively contribute to the PS process by supporting Area finance teams across all phases and subsequently participating in the total group PS consolidation. Your role will involve comprehensive analysis and presentation preparation to ensure accuracy and clarity in conveying financial information. 

 

Handling Budget/SAF scenarios will be part of your responsibilities, requiring analysis and presentation for each official planning scenario. A key challenge will involve reconciling gap analysis with GMT input from various areas/functions.  

 

Additionally, you will be involved in addressing ad-hoc requests and projects, showcasing your adaptability and attention to detail in responding to evolving financial needs within the organization. Your success in this role hinges on your ability to navigate complex financial scenarios and collaborate effectively across the organization. 

 

Who we are looking for:

 

Thanks to your university degree, preferably in Economics, Accounting, or Finance, you will meet the educational requirement for this position. With a minimum of 5 years of experience as a controller and/or corporate reporting analyst, you will bring a solid background in financial analysis and reporting to the role.  

 

Your ability to grasp business processes, identify risks and opportunities, and execute financial business cases will be crucial in contributing to the organization's financial strategies

 

Thanks to your proficiency in MS Office and ideally Essbase/HFM/SAP, you will navigate financial systems effectively. Your flexibility, coupled with strong analytical and project management skills, will enable you to adapt to dynamic work environments and handle diverse tasks.  

 

Your excellent communication skills, combined with a goal-oriented and problem-solving approach, will contribute to effective teamwork. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of an additional language would be considered advantageous. Overall, your organizational skills and capacity to manage priorities and deadlines will play a vital role in fulfilling this role's responsibilities.
