About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Group Financial Reporting Specialist who will be working in the Ferrero Group Consolidation Department.

The role will be focal point for all the matters related to Consolidated Financial Reporting, key player in Due Diligence analysis, and leader in the Purchase Price Allocations. The candidate will interact with all the departments and the external stakeholders involved in M&A processes in order to guarantee a smooth integration of the newly acquired companies in the Group Financial Reporting framework.

Main Responsibilities:

 

You will be responsible for integration processes and periodical reports on the Acquisition & Integration status to be shared with Top Management.
Furthermore you will coordinate the External Audit at global level and the relationship with the Central Audit Team; you will participate to the Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation activities on monthly and yearly basis; you will support the Consolidation Manager in analyzing complex IFRS matters, assessing new IFRS Standards and leading the harmonization of the Financial Reporting Standards. 
Additional responsibilities will include benchmarks and analysis on the Consolidated FS disclosures and application of the IFRS, supporting the Consolidation Manager in projects lead by or involving the Consolidation department.

Who we are looking for:

 

Profile:

 

To be a successful candidate you are a Master’s degree graduated in Business Administration, Finance, or related, with at least 5-6 years of experience within the Financial Reporting & Consolidation field.

You have got solid basis of accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), good knowledge of Financial Reporting & Consolidation procedures, in addition to mastering of Accounting for Acquisition and harmonization of Financial Reporting Standards.
Complete your profile: strong analytical skills, autonomy, ability to deal with different Stakeholders at local and Group level, solution driven approach and multiple tasks management capability.

 

 

IT Skills:

 

  • Knowledge in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in SAP and HFM is recommended.

 

 

Language:

 

  • Fluent in English
  • Other languages are considered a plus.
