About the Role:

With the seniority characterizing the position, the aim of the position is to provide in autonomous way high quality professional legal services to the Countries of responsibility, aimed at anticipating, preventing or resolving legal issues and risks in a proactive and cost-conscious manner, in alignment with Ferrero Group's legal policies and operating standards, acting as effective business partners. 

Main Responsibilities:

Ensures the implementation of legal strategy at local level.


Defines the local budget and monitors the spending and cost trends, reporting to the Region/ Area main variances.



  • Plans, coordinates and handles Countries legal matters, managing litigations and agreements, in line with Group Ferrero's position;
  • Identifies potential legal issues related to Countries business practices and policies and advises management in order to resolve claims and disputes prior to litigation;
  • Supports the business in drafting and reviews contracts, endorsements and agreement (commercial agreements, patent rights, property managements, services contracts, …);
  • Participates in structuring and negotiating transactions.



  • Directly manages litigations in the Country, escalating the most relevant topics and issues
  • Manages and teams up with Ferrero delegated outside counsels to handle litigations


Directly manages Corporate Governance issues in the Country in line with the Group Policies


Reviews the local advertising and counsels local marketing to reduce the risk


Manages local legal matters related to industrial and operating supply, supporting the local plant (if existing) and local OS functions (i.e. contracts and agreements)


Acts as a local antenna and support for central Competence Center on Product Liability topics



  • Reviews and interprets national legislation, providing professional guidance.
  • Is up-to-date and analyses the evolution of legislation and jurisprudence in the Countries of the Region (product law, competition law, food law, patent law, European law, ...).
  • Assures the compliance with local and state regulations of all Country initiative and practices.



  • Provides legal counsel and guidance to Region management and functions on matters involving legal issues
  • Keeps informed all involved functions on new legislation and Government regulations which might affect operations
  • Participates to Country Board, providing updates on ongoing legal matters and supporting the Region business



  • Implement Group Legal Policies, Legal Operating Standards and Legal Tools locally
  • Set up procedures to reduce risk

Who we are looking for:


  • Master’s degree in law;
  • At least 4-6 years working experience preferably in the FMCG sector;
  • Knowledge of General Law, Commercial Law, Marketing Law, Competition Law/Anti monopoly Law/Antitrust Law, Consumer Protection, Privacy/Data protection;
  • Flexibility, organizational skills and management of priorities and deadlines;
  • Ability to work in team in different environments;
  • Goal oriented.



  • Fluent in English, other language is considered a plus.


IT Skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office.
