About the Role:
Ferrero Luxembourg Headquarters is seeking a Consumer Insight Executive to join the Ice Cream Consumer & Shopper Understanding (CSU) team for a 1 year fixed-term contract. As a member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving consumer insights, data analysis and experimental projects at the point-of-sale to inform and optimize the development and marketing of Ferrero’s product offering.
Main Responsibilities:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
This role involves managing consumer insights activities for the Ice Cream Category, directly supervised by the CSU Manager.
CONSUMER & SHOPPER INSIGHTS:
In this role, you will collaborate on leading a series of multinational consumer research projects, utilizing a variety of research methodologies.
You will transform research findings into actionable recommendations for new product development and marketing strategies in our key markets.
You will also cultivate and maintain relationships with external research and consulting partners to expand our consumer understanding resources.
COORDINATION & COMMUNICATION:
You will prepare deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, summaries) and jointly present consumer insights, research findings, and recommendations to marketing stakeholders and the category management team in a clear and persuasive manner.
You will also foster effective communication and coordination among various departments and stakeholders, ensuring a smooth flow of information and alignment of objectives.
PLANNING & BUDGET MANAGEMENT:
As a Consumer Insight Executive, you will assist the CSU Manager in determining the optimal set of research activities (research funnel) to address pertinent business questions and adjust them as needed.
Additionally, you will track budget spending for the category's market research activities.
Finally, you will build partnerships and work in cooperation with Marketing, other CSU functions, Controlling, and external research partners to build strong relationships.
Who we are looking for:
You will possess a degree in Marketing, Statistic, Economics, Business, Psychology, or a related field, coupled with 3-6 years of experience in Insights, Market, or Consumer Research within a multinational company, ideally in the consumer goods industry, or a research agency.
Your strong project management skills will be essential for effectively managing project lifecycles and collaborating successfully with stakeholders at every stage. Proficiency in common market research techniques and a solid understanding of social media listening will also be crucial.
Your success in this role will be driven by your analytical skills and ability to interpret consumer insights and transform them into actionable recommendations.
Your exceptional interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills will be invaluable, as well as your ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional and international team setting.
Your positive attitude and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines will be a significant advantage.
Finally, your experience with diverse cultural contexts will be a beneficial asset.
