Senior IT Project Manager

About the Role:

 

For our Ferrero Headquarter in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager who will directly report to the Head of IT PMO team and will be:

 

  • Managing IT projects and programs cross-functional and/or in the specific Functional Area;
  • Ensuring the achievement of defined objectives (functionalities, system reliability and quality) and business targets while managing projects' resources (economics, human, material, time, etc.), priorities and conflicts resolution, guaranteeing  the respect of budget, in alignment with the scope defined with the IT Business Partner and Business Process Owners;
  • Leading and coordinating all project phases, from project preparation to hand over, avoiding business disruptions in the processes involved;
  • Coordinating external Project Managers in the assigned projects' portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:

 

IT BUDGET

 

  • Supports and advices Central IT Business Partners in the prioritization of the unconstraint demand coming from  Functions/ geographies;
  • Is accountable for project budget and timing;

 

DEMAND COLLECTION

 

  • Supports and advice Central IT Business Partners in the prioritization of the projects and initiatives requests coming from  Functions/ geographies;
  • Supporst the identification of the critical issues related to the integration points between the lines (process owner) and/or risk issue linked to the complexity that arise at a geography / function level;

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

 

  • Manages transformation/General Management Priority projects and relevant improvement initiatives (>100K€, overall portfolio >4mln€) through specific Project Management tools and techniques, overseeing all rojects' phases;
  • Ensures the proper and complete management and delivery of the assigned projects by:
    • coordinating all internal human resource staffing;
    • engaging and coordinating all external resources (i.e. consultants and partners) in collaboration with the partnern’s project manager;
  • Defines Project Baseline, Forecast and Cost profile;
  • Monitors and updates the project's budget monthly expenditure while taking care of possible actions to react to possible deviation;
  • Monitors the progress (checking time and costs) of several projects;
  • Ensures the quality and technical requirements of managed projects;
  • Maintains the commitment and proposes solutions to reduce possible Project risks;
  • Is responsible for respecting time, budget, quality and resource commitments for all projects in the master plan;
  • Is responsible for following and running the Projects' KPIs;
  • Manages the Process Governance cycle according to PMO's Governance Process;
  • Conducts the supplier selection phase (RFP) coordinating all relevant stakeholders;
  • Provides support to IT PMO's Head in consolidating the Projects' facts and figures in the IT Project Master Plan.
Who we are looking for:

 

Profile:

  • Master's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Informational Technology or other related fields;  
  • 10-12 years of proven experience in IT Project Management;
  • Proven experience in complex Project and Program management with high impacts on business continuity;
  • Project management Skills including waterfall and agile methodology;
  • PMI/PMP Certification is considered a strong plus;
  • Experience in:
    • CPG Market is welcome
    • CRM, Promo Planning and Order to Cash processes as Functional Analyst or IT Process Owner;
    • International environments with matrix organizational structures;
    • Digital transformation projects;
    • End-to-end SAP implementation project is a plus;
  • Influencing & negotiation skills;

  • Enthusiasm and commitment to excellence with a result-oriented approach.

 

IT Skills:

 

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • IT Skills: Background and functional knowledge on SAP/ Major ERP or CRM / Sales Force platform;
  • IT Architectures and platform knowledge.

 

Language Skills:

 

  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • Any other European language (i.e. Italian and/or French) will be considered an asset.
