About the Role:

Reporting both to the CEMAC /West Africa Sales Manager the Sales Development Specialist provides support in Setting/executing effective sales and promotion plans with distributors.

Main Responsibilities:

Main Duties

  • Market intelligence and performance review of distributors
  • Study and management of price position and profitability. Optimizing profitability and sales
  • Reporting and managing daily operational issues
  • Act as point of reference for distributor ensuring track and follow up of orders
  • Consolidate sales figures over the assigned perimeter (East, Central, West Africa countries), ensuring precise and accurate monthly and weekly reporting by country, distributor, volume, value and channel 
  • Constantly monitor and assess forecasts by collecting and analyzing Distributor data, weekly sales plans, stock flows
  • Update, analyze monthly sales results reports and KPI summaries (gap analysis, breakdown by account and channel of POI, comparative analysis by region between planned and actual sales)
  • FOLLOW UP DISTRIBUTOR CLEAREANCE PROCEDURE AND COST EFFECTINEVESS 
  • AD HOC ADMINISTRATIVE TASK FOR SALES

Who we are looking for:

Preferred Profile

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced excel skills
  • MS office proficient user, SAP is a plus
  • Proactive and result – oriented
  • Qualification and technical Skills:
    1. University degree
    2. at least 2-3 years of Sales & Marketing background (preferably) OR Commercial/logistic experience

Multi Lingual with English and French mandatory, any other language is a plus.
