Reporting Automation & Continuous Improvement Manager

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Reporting Automation & Continuous Improvement Manager for our Ferrero HQ in Luxembourg. In this pivotal position, you will lead the industrialization and transformation of Managerial Reporting processes by driving automation, workflow optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Reporting Factory.
You will play a key role in making reporting production increasingly scalable, efficient, and resilient through the deployment of automation technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and process excellence methodologies. Acting as the key link between Front Office, Reporting Operations, Data and AI, and Finance IT teams, you will help accelerate innovation and maximize the value generated by reporting technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the automation and continuous improvement roadmap for the Reporting Factory, ensuring alignment with business priorities, operational needs, reporting standards, and enterprise technology roadmaps. You will assess, prioritize, and manage the portfolio of automation opportunities based on business impact, implementation complexity, scalability, and expected return on investment.

A core part of your role will be to translate reporting demand, operational bottlenecks, recurring issues, and user feedback into structured automation and improvement initiatives. You will identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting production activities, reconciliations, and data preparation tasks, while implementing workflow orchestration, scheduling, and automated controls to improve reporting cycle efficiency, reliability, and quality.

You will partner closely with Data and AI and Finance IT Platform teams to design, deploy, document, govern, and maintain scalable automation and reporting solutions. You will also support the onboarding and integration of new reporting tools, templates, system capabilities, and automation assets, ensuring they are embedded in a controlled and sustainable operating model.

Furthermore, you will contribute to the evolution of managerial reporting by identifying opportunities to leverage AI-enabled capabilities, automated insights generation, narrative reporting, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and GenAI use cases. You will pilot emerging technologies, evaluate their applicability to reporting processes and stakeholder needs, and promote reusable automation components and scalable solution patterns across the Reporting Factory.

Your role will also involve leading continuous improvement initiatives to simplify reporting processes, eliminate waste, improve productivity, and strengthen operational resilience. You will conduct root-cause analyses of recurring operational issues, implement sustainable corrective actions, establish process performance metrics, and monitor the realization of automation benefits.

To ensure successful delivery, you will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Planning & Controlling, Data & Analytics, IT and other relevant business teams across the organisation.

About You:

You have a master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, together with 5-7 years of experience in Planning and Controlling, managerial reporting, finance transformation, process automation, continuous improvement, or reporting operations within a complex multinational environment.

You are fluent in English and bring strong knowledge of reporting processes, data preparation flows, workflow optimization, process standardization, automation governance, and performance improvement methodologies.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is expected, while experience with Power BI, SAP, HFM, workflow tools, RPA solutions, AI-enabled analytics, or other reporting and automation platforms will be considered a strong asset.
Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role. You are able to identify inefficiencies, translate business and operational needs into structured improvement initiatives, evaluate technology-enabled solutions pragmatically, and drive initiatives from concept to sustainable implementation.

You are proactive, curious, structured, and strongly oriented toward continuous improvement. You combine business understanding with a digital mindset, and you are comfortable working across Finance, IT, Data and AI, and business stakeholders to promote standardization, adoption of new technologies, and disciplined ways of working.
Finally, you know how to operate effectively in a matrix organization, influencing without direct authority, managing priorities across multiple stakeholders, and maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and a strong focus on quality, scalability, and user satisfaction.

If you are ready to take this exciting opportunity, we encourage you to apply!
