About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Product Cost Controller who will join our dynamic central Finance team and your responsibilities will include various key areas.


Within the HQ Finance department, you will be responsible for central controlling activities concerning the Product Cost of the business. You will deal with multiple stakeholders at an international level, partnering with all related Group and Area functions.  

 

Main Responsibilities:

Thanks to your financial analysis and planning skills, you will take part in the Product Cost Planning activities of the Group. You will collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to contribute to the definition of standard costs across different planning scenarios (Guidelines, Budget, Forecast). You will also support the monitoring of product costs for Ferrero brands, analyze variances, and prepare regular reports for management.

 

You will be involved in data collection and analysis to assess the financial impact of projects related to production reallocation or make-or-buy decisions. Thanks to your structured approach and collaborative mindset, you will work closely with various controlling functions (Procurement, Operations, Category Controlling), as well as with departments such as Planning, Reporting, Scenarios, Customs, and Insurance.

 

You will also contribute to several departmental projects, including the implementation of the new SAP 4 HANA system, the Value Chain Optimization project for cocoa-related production processes, and the organizational integration of new entities and plants into the Ferrero Group model. Finally, you will support the team in defining and reviewing the Group methodologies for Product Costing.

Who we are looking for:

Thanks to your academic background in Finance, Business Management or a related field, you will bring a strong professional foundation supported by at least 3–5 years of experience in Controlling, ideally with exposure to industrial or product cost controlling. Experience in the Food & Beverage sector would be considered an advantage.

 

You are proficient in SAP, particularly in the FI and CO modules, and familiar with business intelligence tools. A good command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is required. Knowledge of Oracle and AI-based applications would be a plus.

 

Fluency in English is essential, while knowledge of any other language is appreciated. You are analytical and results-oriented, with a problem-solving, proactive, and flexible mindset. You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in an international team environment. Understanding of production controlling processes (cost calculation, budgeting, planning, and reporting) is an additional asset.
