About the Role:
Ferrero Luxembourg HQ is looking for a talented Media Relations Specialist to join our dynamic global communications team.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our global media strategy—crafting stories that resonate, building relationships that matter, and ensuring our voice is heard consistently across markets. You will work closely with journalists, media partners and other key stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include media monitoring, content creation, media relations, and corporate campaign/event support across multiple markets.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Media Relations Specialist, you will assist in developing the right set of messages to ensure our stories reach the right audience in the right way.
Covering this role, you will build and manage relationships with global media. This includes drafting press materials, organizing briefings and monitoring coverage across international outlets. You’ll analyze sentiment, spot trends, and help shape our response to the fast-moving media landscape. Whether it’s supporting a global campaign, coordinating a press event, or preparing a rapid response, you’ll be part of a team that thrives on collaboration and impact.
You will also work closely with colleagues across corporate communications, marketing and business units to align media strategies with broader company objectives.
Together with the digital media team, you will help amplify earned media across our owned channels.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring knowledge from a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, combined with 5-7 years of experience in media relations, PR, or corporate communications (agency or in-house).
You’ll bring a sharp editorial eye, a deep understanding of the global media landscape, and the ability to manage multiple projects with precision and poise.
Your experience in global media relations will be crucial, complemented by fluency and strong writing skills in English. Additional languages such as French or German will be a plus. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Talkwalker or Meltwater is also highly valued.
Your ability to manage complex projects efficiently will be key to your success in this role, as will your strong interpersonal skills and talent for building productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
If you’re passionate about storytelling, media engagement, and working in a fast-paced international environment, we’d love to hear from you.
