About the Role:
For our Global Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Tax Manager to lead all tax-related activities within our Luxembourg Finance team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to act as a strategic business partner, working closely with senior management, tax authorities, and external advisors to support effective tax strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Luxembourgish and international tax laws, implementing Ferrero Group tax policies, and overseeing tax compliance processes.
Ferrero’s Finance function offers experienced professionals the chance to join a dynamic, globally integrated team that plays an important role in shaping the company’s financial strategy. In this role, you will not only deepen your technical tax expertise but also gain exposure to cross-functional initiatives and high-level decision-making. Your leadership will contribute to managing tax risks, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through sound fiscal planning.
Main Responsibilities:
Thanks to your deep understanding of both international and Luxembourgish tax frameworks, you will play an important role across several key areas.
You will lead Luxembourg tax, advising on new legislation and business initiatives and ensuring the consistent application of Group transfer pricing guidelines.
In managing tax risk and compliance, you will ensure full adherence to local requirements for Luxembourg entities, oversee audits and litigation processes, and maintain constructive relationships with local tax authorities. You will also contribute to tax reporting by supporting Group Tax Reporting, coordinating Luxembourg tax reporting activities, and ensuring accurate income tax reporting and forecasts.
In addition, you will support the development of the tax team by mentoring professionals, encouraging open communication, and fostering ongoing professional growth.
Who we are looking for:
With a minimum of 15 years of experience in tax management —particularly in international tax and planning— you bring a strategic mindset and a proven ability to lead in a multinational environment.
You hold a master’s degree in taxation, business administration, or a related field, and certifications such as CPA, CMA, or EA are considered a plus. You have a strong track record in managing tax audits, litigation, and transfer pricing, along with deep knowledge of international tax rules and Luxembourgish regulations.
Your ability to develop and implement tax strategies and policies is well established, and you possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Known for your collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, you are adept at influencing across all levels of the organization.
What Makes This Role Unique?
You will have the opportunity to shape the tax landscape of a global organization, working at the intersection of compliance, strategy, and innovation. Your insights will directly impact business decisions, while your leadership will help build a resilient and forward-thinking tax function.
From day one, you will benefit from a structured onboarding process, close collaboration with senior leaders, and the chance to contribute to high-impact projects. This role offers a platform for continued growth and visibility within the organization, making it an ideal next step for a seasoned tax professional ready to take on a strategic leadership role.
How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do. So, to be successful at Ferrero, you’ll need to be just as consumer and product centric as we are - dedicated to crafting brilliant results for consumers around the world.
