About the Role:
For our Global Headquarters, we are looking for an Insurance Risk Manager to oversee and manage all strategic and operative projects related to insurance risk management.
Main Responsibilities:
As Insurance Risk Manager, you will oversee strategic projects related to insurance risk management, ensuring the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of risks across all organizational areas. Thanks to your expertise, you will implement risk management projects, work on the definition of risk appetite and tolerance, advise risk mitigation strategies and risk transfer solutions (including insurance programs structures, loss prevention initiatives, and contingency plans), while working with various departments to maintain business continuity plans addressing insurance risks.
You will establish and maintain insurance risk management policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. By preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management, you will provide updates on risk management activities and the organization's risk profile with the aim of supporting informed decisions. Additionally, you will support various activities, including loss prevention linked to global insurance programs, crisis management, and M&A deals, contributing to the organization's resilience.
Supporting the involvement of the Group Captive and assisting colleagues on insurance-related topics will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring cohesive risk management efforts across the organization.
Who we are looking for:
Thanks to your 8 to 12 years of experience in insurance as a risk manager or risk management advisor, you bring a solid foundation in managing and understanding risk-related matters. Your background includes basic knowledge of various insurance lines of risk.
You will rely on your ability to simplify complex situations, synthesize information effectively, and communicate clearly with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Presenting detailed information in a structured and accessible way will be part of your regular activities.
A good understanding of global consumer goods businesses and their operating models will also support your ability to adapt to the organization's context. While prior exposure in this area is appreciated, your capacity to learn and align with such models will be equally valuable.
How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
