About the Role:
For our Ferrero HQ in Luxembourg, we're searching for an enthusiastic intern to join our Finance department for a 6-month internship starting in September.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will perform daily cash reconciliation for Group accounts in scope.
You will establish the daily cash positioning for Group accounts in scope. You will also collaborate with the Risk Management Team to determine the daily foreign exchange transactions needed. You will manage the short-term borrowings/investments in line with cash position and forecasting. You will also support the management of the Global Cash Pooling and Group Inhouse Bank.
Moreover, you will work closely with banking partners and financial service providers to perform your job duties. Your role extends to helping manage treasury and intercompany flows. Together with your team, you will provide operational support for treasury projects and initiatives, including new treasury system implementations.
Thanks to your skills and dedication, you will ensure efficient and accurate financial operations within the organization.
Who we are looking for:
To be eligible for the internship, you must be enrolled in an educational institution, or the internship must start and end within 12 months after your last school enrolment period. In addition, you must already hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Luxembourg which is valid at least until the end of March 2026.
You will bring a master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Your advanced skills in MS Office, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, will be valuable, and experience with PowerBI will be an additional asset. Your effective use of Treasury Systems (TMS) and SAP ERP will prove essential, alongside a strong basis of financial analysis.
You will demonstrate the ability to deal with different internal and external stakeholders at both local and Group levels while maintaining knowledge of cash management and bank account management in an SAP environment. You will succeed in this role thanks to your self-motivation, organization, pragmatism, and solution-driven approach, with a strong ability to work autonomously to achieve targets.
Moreover, your ability to deliver results at tight deadlines will be key. A genuine interest in being proactive and curious, demonstrating commitment and initiative, will further enhance your impact in this position.
