About the Role:
Ferrero Luxembourg HQ is seeking a talented Global Social Media Manager Kinder to join the Digital team within the HQ Digital Marketing Excellence department, reporting to the Global Kinder Digital Marketing Manager.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Global Category department and engage and delight our global audience through innovative social media strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Global Social Media Manager, you will develop and implement a comprehensive global social media strategy aligned with Kinder’s brand objectives across multiple platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Your responsibilities will include, leading the creative development of engaging and high-quality content that aligns with Kinder’s brand voice and global goals.
You will mentor and collaborate with regional or local teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all markets.
You will also track and analyze social media metrics using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Emplify, and Talkwalker to measure the success of Kinder brands’ digital activities. You will optimize strategies and report on performance to senior management.
Moreover, you will work closely with global and local marketing teams, PR, Legal, and the Procurement Department to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all global channels.
Lastly, you will analyze social media channels, digital trends, and the latest social media competitors’ best practices to deliver actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring knowledge from a degree in Communication, Digital Marketing, or related fields, combined with 2-5 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager in digital marketing within an FMCG company or a digital agency/consultancy.
Your experience in social media management and multi-country social strategy delivery will be crucial, complemented by your skills in managing global brands or masterbrands.
Your effective attention to detail will prove essential, alongside your ability to manage complex executions according to global strategy and brand guidelines. You will demonstrate a solid understanding of the role of social media in communications architectures and brand & category development.
You will succeed in this role thanks to your experience in managing agencies and your passion for consumer technology innovation and understanding consumer culture. Your ability to forge relationships internally and externally and to work cross-functionally will be key as well.
Moreover, your analytical mindset and excellent communication skills will be valuable in tracking and analyzing social media metrics with tools like Google Analytics, Emplify, and Talkwalker. You will optimize strategies and report on performance to senior management.
Additionally, you will bring basic knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics, and your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously will be instrumental in achieving success in this role. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will further enhance your impact in this position.
Your excellent written and verbal communication skills in English will be key, and your creative thinking with a passion for storytelling and brand-building will be highly valued.
