About the Role:

 

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Global Demand Planning CoE Manager who will report professionally to the Group S&OP & Planning Process Improvement Manager.

 
As a Global Demand Planning CoE Manager, you will play a key role in designing and developing demand planning process roadmap and priorities, policies, procedures and standards, business requirements related to tools, in line with the Group business evolution, the Group S&OP Blueprint and with the Operational Excellence Initiatives, ensuring partnership with central functions connected with planning processes (incl. Sales & Business Development, IT). You will also provide Subject Matter Expertise; consult, advise Area, Region, and Country Demand Planners, who on the other side will be accountable for deploying and running Demand Planning according to the Global Standard Model.

 

The Global Demand Planning CoE Manager will be crucial for the company success, a robust demand planning process will enhance the effectiveness of the overall supply chain improving customer satisfaction, reducing at the same time the operating costs. 
 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Covering this role, you will design and deploy the Global Standard Model for Demand Planning; define the process template and related integration with the Volume Planning Process and Trade Management; ensuring coherence with the other functions’ guidelines, processes and organizational models. You will  deploy the aligned Group Demand Planning HUB Target Operating Model through the Area HUBs and monitor the Demand Planning Model implementation.

 

Additionally, you will support continuous improvement by developing and deploying aligned KPIs and drive performance improvements. You will lead the design, architecture and dashboard for KPI reporting. You will also support continuous improvement on process and technology by adapting processes in line with Business evolution, drive IT tools on forecast model; in close collaboration with IT and continuously seek improvements on tools to support the business evolution. Equally important, you will work closely with IT to develop the roadmap and adapt future needs (Statistical Models, Machine Learning).

 

Finally, you will develop and integrate the Professional Family Community across Demand Planning; playing a key role in driving the transformation and ensuring buy-in of the Global Model through the professional family as well as key stakeholders. You will collect demand planning best practices and facilitate sharing across Areas / Regions / Countries and develop and execute training needs to enhance capabilities in Demand Planning.

Who we are looking for:

 

You will bring your Master’s Degree in Engineering or any Operations/Supply Chain related field and 10 to 15 years of work experience in demand planning and transformation programs implementation in multinational companies, ideally within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.  


On top of this, you will bring In-market/country broad experience in demand planning, both in the design and set running of ongoing activities mastering the interactions with Regions and Group stakeholders within the broader context of the S&OP process. A strong experience in leading the Demand Planning team in a market or country is a must.

 

To effectively cover the role will be required a high level of strategic thinking, the capability to understand business dynamics, analytical skills to translate data into business insights, strong influencing and communication skills to engage with senior business stakeholders and support them in the decision-making process.


Moreover, you have consolidated project management experience, leading process & digital transformational projects in international environments within matrix organizations. This experience has strengthened your ability to drive change management initiatives and establish new ways of working. 


You have a deep knowledge of statistical forecasting tools (e.g. Blue Yonder) and the availability to travel up to 40% to 50% of the time.
