Food Safety and Quality Auditor

About the Role:

As a Food Safety & Quality Auditor, you will help protect the trust behind Ferrero’s products by supporting industrial and commercial audits across our global value chain. Through your work on sites and with partners, you will create a tangible impact on food safety and quality.

Based in our Luxembourg HQ, you will collaborate with teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and R&D. This role will allow you to discover how standards are lived every day, build a global network, and grow your career while shaping Ferrero’s quality story worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

You will prepare and conduct Food Safety & Quality audits across Ferrero plants, co-manufacturers, co-packers, hazelnut processing units, business units, and supply chain warehouses. Through on-site visits, you will assess compliance with Ferrero requirements, observe practices closely, and shape a clear view of risks and opportunities that matter for our mission.

Moreover, you will analyze findings and translate facts into clear, structured audit reports that support action. By highlighting priorities and improvement areas, you will enable teams to take effective corrective measures and strengthen food safety and quality over time. Your work will help inspire continuous improvement across diverse environments.

In addition, you will join or lead cross-functional projects within the Quality Audit organization, contributing to organizational development and integration of newly acquired companies. With around 50% of international travel, you will collaborate globally, grow your perspective, and directly influence how Ferrero crafts quality standards everywhere we operate.

About You:

You will bring your educational background in Food Science, Biology, or a related technical field, combined with 5-7 years of experience in a food manufacturing plant. You have worked in operational Food Safety and Quality roles, understand audit realities on site, and demonstrate strong critical thinking to assess risks related to food safety, quality, and compliance.

You can work fluently in English and confidently engage with colleagues across cultures. Experience in chocolate, biscuits, nuts, ice cream, or dairy environments strengthens your contribution, as does your ability to use Microsoft Office tools and SAP to support your daily work.

You are a collaborative professional who communicates clearly and presents insights with confidence. Lead auditor certifications such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, or other GFSI benchmark standards support your profile and help you create lasting impact in audits.
