About the Role:

For our Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg we are looking for a Food Law Counsel (Fixed-Term Contract 1 year) within Legal Department Team.
This role will give you the opportunity to work in close collaboration with several departments at both central and local levels, aiming for comprehensive alignment and a uniform approach on different aspects concerning labelling and presentation of the food products.
 

Main Responsibilities:

Thanks to your analytical skills, you will be tasked with analyzing, interpreting, and implementing applicable Food Law requirements, with a regional focus on Scandinavia, Czech Republic, and the Balkan Region within the Multi-Countries Region.
Your key responsibilities will involve drafting and approving labelling specifications, in collaboration with local marketing teams, and external consultants. Additionally, you will liaise with local external counsels on specific Food Law matters in order to provide legal opinions and risk assessments to various stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will also extend to providing training and guidelines on food labelling compliance, encompassing aspects like artwork development and the feasibility of multilingual artworks, as well as the implementation of voluntary labelling requirements. 
 

Who we are looking for:

You bring your university degree in Law and a solid EU Food Law expertise. Your extensive experience of at least 1-3 years in a similar position as in-house counsel or in a law, consultancy firm, within FMCG industry will be valuable in this role.
Proficiency in English is a fundamental requirement, and knowledge of other languages within the scope is considered beneficial.
Thanks to your comprehensive experience in EU food law, you will be well-equipped to navigate and interpret complex regulations.
A flexible mindset, proactive attitude and organizational skills are essential for addressing the dynamic nature of regulatory landscapes and ensuring a proactive approach to challenges.
