About the Role:
For our Ferrero Headquarter in Luxembourg and our Group Food Safety & Quality function we are looking for a Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) Management System Manager for a fixed-term contract.
The FSQ Management System Manager is responsible for ensuring an aligned and updated Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) system within the Group FSQ function. This role involves managing and updating FSQ documentation, ensuring compliance with Group Governance models, and providing expertise on enhancing the FSQMS. The manager will also be responsible for overseeing Group FSQ certifications and supporting FSQ inspections and audits.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role you will ensure an aligned and updated FSQ system within the Group FSQ function, including processes and documentation (e.g., standardization of approval flows, content updates, new document releases, obsolete elimination).
You will provide QMS processes support to the digitalization team to allow them to digitalize the current process into digital workflows to build the QMS digital platform.
Your responsibilities will include managing and guaranteeing the update of FSQ System, Capabilities & Culture documentation, ensuring alignment in terms of FSQ Manual, procedures, instructions, policies framework/contents, specifications, FSQ standards, and guidelines. Ensuring FSQ documentation (specifications, FSQ standards, guidelines) is compliant with the Group Governance model.
Moreover, you will provide expertise on necessary actions to enhance coverage and adequacy of the FSQMS, methodologies, and tools. You will benchmark the FSQMS against newly introduced international regulations, standards, and industrial practices to provide guidance for improvement programs.
In this role, you will collaborate with local teams (RM, Pack, Labs) for the management (form, coding, approval) of local technical documentation, and upload documents to the system to be shared with users (Product specifications, Procedures, audit reports). You will also manage access to documents published on the Documentation portal, provide updates on activities and KPIs related to the FSQMS (document obsolescence, new releases, updates, missing documents) and collaborate in defining digitalization opportunities for the FSQMS.
Certifications Implementation:
You will be responsible for Group FSQ certifications such as ISO9001, FSSC 22000, RSPO, including coordination with certification bodies and definition of contracts. To be successful in this role, you need to have a sound understanding of the global certification budget and contract clauses to ensure delivered services.
In this role you will support plants and other sectors of the group for all certifications, including coordinating contracts and external communications with certification bodies; you will support FSQ inspections and audits by providing necessary information, organizing training for FSQ Internal Inspectors, and ensuring the adequacy and efficacy of internal audit plans, as well as non-conformity resolution from external audits and overall monitoring practices.
You will monitor local FSQ certifications, collect final reports, and ensure proper action plan activation, and annually draft and coordinate FSQ reviews in compliance with certifications, providing a perspective on global trends for certification KPIs and performances.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring a master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology or other related fields, and 5-7 years of proven experience in managing FSQ systems and documentation.
You have a strong understanding of international regulations, standards, and industrial practices related to FSQ.
You have excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
You are proficient in digital tools and systems for managing FSQ documentation.
You also possess solid knowledge of the SAP QM non conformities and deviation processes transactions.
Being fluent in English is essential for this role.
