Category Product Flow Manager
About the Role:
For our Ferrero HQ in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Category PFM (Product Flow Manager) working for the Regions Africa-Levante, Gulf Arabic Countries, Turkey and Travel Market Business Unit, who will be part of the Documental Process Management and Regional Supply Chain departments, managing one PFM Specialist and reporting to the Region PFM Manager.
As the Category PFM you will define the timing feasibility of the Business Unit’s novelties and portfolio changes, coordinating the end-to-end activities with all departments involved in Project Development, including upstream and downstream phases, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with the Business Unit’s required sell-out period. You will develop the Master Data for packaging materials and finished goods.
Main Responsibilities:
In this role you will gain deep knowledge of the operational specificities of the Brands you are responsible for, including a high-level understanding of the factories’ Models or Bill of Materials (BOM) management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and lead times.
You will be responsible for managing one direct report who will work with you on the assigned Categories, fostering a culture of empowerment and accountability. You will support this person’s professional development through continuous feedback, clear objective-setting, and active coaching, promoting a proactive mindset.
You will work closely with the Regional Marketing Teams - your key stakeholders for new product activations or changes - understanding priorities and balancing timing expectations, building Gantt charts when required. Additionally, you will interact with many other business stakeholders working on projects across your Regions, including PG, Category Planners, Area Marketing Managers, Supply Chain, Sales, Trade Marketing, Legal, and GPD.
You will develop the artwork and finished goods Master Data required for the Regions’ product portfolios, and you will coordinate with the Documental Planner function to communicate priorities to Graphic Agencies and factories, addressing any activities at risk due to potential delays in the process.
You will handle the Product Master Data (Excel) for the Travel Market Business Unit, enabling input from other Business Unit stakeholders regarding information required for product listing or specification consultation.
About You:
You bring a master’s degree in engineering, or another Operations-related field, together with 4–6 years of experience in project management, master data or other roles within Supply Chain and Operations. You are used to managing different stakeholders with clarity and calm, building trust through strong communication and keeping projects on track with a steady, results-oriented approach. You are fluent in English and skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, and you can work confidently with IT tools such as SAP.
You combine analytical thinking with a hands-on understanding of how to keep product information accurate and dependable. You proactively look for solutions, simplify complexity and help teams make decisions at the right time. You can manage a direct report with structure and empathy, set expectations clearly and help them learn with purpose. You move easily between technical details and clear communication, ensuring that data, timelines and people stay aligned. Your ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a challenging, dynamic and multi-cultural environment will be highly valued.
