The Data Flow Manager, which is an emerging role in Ferrero’s BI&A team, will play a pivotal role in operationalizing the most critical data and analytics initiatives for Ferrero’s digital transformation objectives.
The bulk of the Data Flow Manager’s work will be in creating new data pipelines for Shopper and Customer data related to all of our brands globally. These data form the basis of business-critical category and channel performance reporting and analytics for Marketing and Trade leaders.
Additional support creating new or managing existing pipelines on our retail panel, campaign, owned platforms and consumer survey data lake will also be expected.
Main Responsibilities:
Thanks to your expertise in data management, you will contribute to the development of new data pipelines by working closely with project teams and IT partners. You will be involved in the implementation of platforms that collect campaign, customer, and channel data, ensuring their integration into Ferrero’s IT architecture for further analysis and reporting.
You will also manage existing data pipelines and databases related to these data. You will primarily use Microsoft Fabric tools to ensure smooth data processing and provide extractions or visualizations based on stakeholder needs.
You will support efforts to streamline data within the Consumer & Shopper domain. Working closely with Data Specialists and Data Scientists, you will help prepare structured datasets for analysis and modelling.
Who we are looking for:
You will contribute with knowledge from a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or related quantitative fields and your 2-4 years of experience. You have honed your analytical skills and prepared yourself for the challenges of data engineering in today's dynamic landscape. You are fluent in English.
You possess the practical knowledge necessary to navigate complex data ecosystems effectively and your collaborative nature shines through when working within cross-functional teams and engaging with diverse business stakeholders.
Your technical skillset serves as your foundation for success. Your proficiency in ELT tools like MS Azure Data Factory, coupled with good understanding of SQL database design, architecture, and management, allows you to architect and manage data. Your familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and knowledge of Python will be valuable. Additionally, your expertise in data visualization using Power BI and your grasp of big data technologies, cloud platforms like Snowflake, and of DevOps principles further enrich your capabilities.
How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do. So, to be successful at Ferrero, you’ll need to be just as consumer and product centric as we are - dedicated to crafting brilliant results for consumers around the world.
To better understand our consumers and business environment we need your ability to make sense of the external market, a global mindset and the ability to benchmark Ferrero products against the competition, internally and externally. Combining this with analytical and critical thinking, you will help Ferrero in generating visionary and actionable insights and driving change. Employee contribution and engagement at Ferrero is individual, team and organisational based, so you should have the ability to work independently as well as manage your team and stakeholders.
