About the Role:
For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for the Area North America Modern & Traditional Trade Development Specialist for our Sales Business Development department.
Main Responsibilities:
Thanks to your experience in business development, you will play an important role in supporting the creation and implementation of growth strategies with modern trade customers, including mass retailers and grocery chains, as well as strategic channels such as clubs and discount stores. Your ability to collaborate will be essential in driving initiatives that align with business objectives, ensuring that relationships with key stakeholders are built on mutual success and strong partnerships.
You will actively manage projects related to trade spend optimization, pricing analysis, and channel development, ensuring they are completed on time and aligned with broader business goals. Your leadership will help in navigating complex initiatives and ensuring that these efforts drive overall performance and growth. Your analytical mindset will also support in identifying key areas for improvement and ensuring that all actions are grounded in solid data and market trends.
By working closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, and Category teams, you will help design and implement commercial activities that generate results and foster collaboration. You will also conduct market research and track sales performance, offering valuable insights to support revenue growth initiatives, ensuring that your contributions lead to measurable success in an evolving market.
Who we are looking for:
With an MSc in Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, along with 5 to 8 years of experience in Trade Marketing or Key Account Management within FMCG, Consulting, or similar industries, you will be positioned to work on a global scale with strong visibility to senior management. Your expertise in these areas will allow you to contribute effectively to high-level strategies and initiatives across the group.
Your advanced negotiation skills, flexibility, and focus on results will drive success in this role. You will rely on your solid experience in data analysis to provide valuable insights and engage confidently with top-tier management. These interactions will require both a strategic mindset and the ability to deliver clear, actionable outcomes.
Fluency in English will be key to managing communications across teams, with MS Office proficiency supporting your day-to-day tasks. An understanding of VBA will be a plus, enabling you to streamline processes and further enhance your impact.
