About the Role:

For our Ferrero Group Headquarter, we are currently looking for an Area Food Safety & Quality Industrial & Supply Manager who will become part of our Food Safety&Quality Department, based in Luxembourg.  

Thanks to this exciting and challenging opportunity, you will support the Head of Food Safety & Quality Industrial & Supply in an effective management of the Food Safety & Quality performances within the plants in the reference Area in order to support cascading the implementation of Food Safety & Quality guidelines, procedures and policies centrally defined, for a compliant application of FSQ Standards. You will homogeneously support Food Safety & Quality issues and incidents management at local level, focusing on their prevention avoiding recurrences, and collect direct feedbacks from Plants, Warehouses, 3POs, sharing them with the other Central and Area functions.

Main Responsibilities:

Covering this position, you will take part in Area Industrial governance mechanisms (e.g. Industrial and Supply Chain Area Boards, area Industrial site visits, etc.) and new projects related to the development of Food Safety & Quality in the Area, supporting their implementation in the Area of reference. 

You will support the definition of strategic industrial KPIs / indicators for monitoring performances and improving Food Safety & Quality level and collect immediate and continuous plant's FSQ KPIs feedback. In this role, you will spread within the perimeter of competence the Ferrero Food Safety & Quality culture, KPIs system and CAPA approach: you will be able to achieve this by carrying out regular site visits to relate with local teams to collect inputs and feedback and share improvement.  

You will be the link to key internal and external business partners and manufacturing locations for growth categories, supporting strategic KPIs’ definition at an industrial level to monitor performance while improving and fostering quality’s level, spreading Ferrero’s quality culture and KPI system within the perimeter of competence. 

You will support the standardization of activities and Ways of Working between different Plants. Moreover, you will support and animate Plant Food Safety&Quality Managers (PFSQM) and local 3PO FSQ capabilities (e.g. definition of required skills, need of training, etc.), designing training methodologies and tutoring the FSQ professional family, mapping ways of working and identifies potential gaps. 

As Area Food Safety & Quality Industrial & Supply Manager you will support Food Safety&Quality Guidelines and Methodologies correct application at Area level, while providing feedback in case of possible limitations and constraints from plant level. You will cascade to plants detailed policies, procedures, guidelines and best practices for the application of FSQ standards throughout the industrial processes. On top of that, you will be expected to propose improvement to existing guidelines and take care of their communication to central teams, providing feedback and improvements, in case of not-effective application of identified policies/ procedure and methodologies. 

In this role you will need to support the PFSQM in the timely, right and consistent management of critical non-conformities or consumer complaints, within plants, warehouses and 3Pos; and support the PFSQM with the timely, right and consistent application of RCA (root cause analysis) and CAPA (corrective and preventive actions). You will support the PFSQM in the specific and transversal task force to accelerate Non-conformity/ Consumer Complaints problem resolution. 

Who we are looking for:

You will bring your university degree background in Food Sciences, or other related fields and at least 10 years of experience in roles in Food Safety&Quality within a multinational environment.

You have a sound knowledge of food safety, food technology, food chemicals and microbiological analysis. 
Having previous experience as Plant Food Safety&Quality manager is a strong asset. 

You have experience in raw materials, packaging and product risk analysis and management, principles of statistical sampling and control in food industry, Pest Control ISO Certification Scheme (ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000, ISO 19000, etc.), allergen management, Private Certification Scheme, Food legislation (GMP, HACCP, etc.). 
Being an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills, you will conduct and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and you’re comfortable interacting with different hierarchical levels.
You are fluent in English and at least another language and you have an excellent MS Office knowledge.
