About the Role:

The role is aimed to manage all maintenance related aspects and projects in plant production area, in order to assure the respect of expected maintenance performance and timings, within costs management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance budget, cooperate with respective functions to define the maintenance related budget and perform variance analysis

  • Identify needs for machinery and equipment improvement, in order to validate it for the investment budget

  • Define maintenance policy,  collect data and perform the requited analysis for evaluation and changes to it

  • Manage the critical review of machinery and equipment manuals, working procedures

  • Elaborate the maintenance plans on a monthly basis, verify the availability of resources and machinery and equipment subjected to maintenance

  • Update deadlines book for maintenance services, according to changes in maintenance policies or need for maintenance services

  • Consolidate the maintenance services to be executed during the planned machineries’ downtime, adding maintenance services for machineries’ improvement (upon availability check)

  • Define technical specifications and request for supplier quotations and analysis, provide evaluations

  • Manage technical suppliers evaluation, collect all the necessary information for the quality evaluation of particularly relevant suppliers, evaluate their insertion in the qualified supplier list

  • Cooperate with relevant stakeholders on the material parts, give necessary information for the correct spare parts and consumption material management (safety stock levels, inventory management logics)

  • Manage the physical structure of machinery under the area of responsibility, the movement from / to warehouses and / or the potential scrapping

  • Ensure machinery, equipment, services and materials sourcing and purchasing 

  • Provide continuous improvement both at maintenance system as a whole and at equipment / machinery level

  • Perform the relevant KPI monitoring and analysis (technical, economical, breakdown, etc)

  • Propose, collect and analyze changes, update and / or substitution requests of equipment and machinery, performing a first feasibility evaluation for new investments and changes

  • Ensure efficient and engaging team management, with great communication and cascading, work on team professional development 

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree in Engineering or related discipline

  • Relevant experience in plant maintenance, FMCG preferred

  • Strategic thinking, analytical skills, insight orientated reporting, project management

  • Good communication and strong cross-teams collaboration ability, with internal and external stakeholder management, supplier management skillset

  • Proactivity, accountability, resilience, dynamism and self-motivation, time management and good people management skill

  • Advanced MS Office skills
