About the Role:
Ferrero Luxembourg HQ is seeking a talented Junior Brand Manager for Kinder Chocolate to join our Kinder Chocolate team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and innovation of the brand, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative market research tools to interpret insights and make them actionable.
Main Responsibilities:
Brand Management & Innovation
As a Junior Brand Manager, you will support the Brand Manager in the projects of global guideline settings and the definition of Brand Vision and Key Marketing Objectives. You will actively contribute to the innovation projects within the brand's perimeter, taking them to the industrialization phase with an impact on the full marketing mix.
Project Development
In this position, you will manage projects within the Kinder Chocolate brand on a global scale. You will align and coordinate all key stakeholders, including Executive Chairman (EC Staff), R&D, Quality, Finance, Packaging, Technical Departments (such as Operations Planning, Operations Development, Procurement & Customs Operative Support), Sales Business Development, Nutritionists, Area Marketing, Marketing Business Units (Bus), Legal Department, Consumer Shopper Understanding (CSU) Media & Digital Teams, Brand Social Responsibility (BSR), and Institutional Affairs & Corporate Communication (IA&CC). You will engage colleagues to secure their full commitment and agreement to ensure the implementation of marketing plans and actions. Moreover, you will monitor the entire process to ensure the achievement of goals within the scheduled timings.
Cross Country Coordination
Covering this role, you will support and collaborate with other Global Presidency team (PG) colleagues to execute a successful launch plan of the assigned projects and/or evaluate new roll-out opportunities via market tests and research of existing projects, depending on the launch phasing of the strategic plan. You will also support the Brand Manager in developing a global activity grid by coordinating with Area Marketing, monitoring implementation, and performance.
Consumer Research
Your responsibilities will include coordinating key research initiatives throughout the year with the Research Department (CSU). You will comprehend and analyze research results to identify and propose opportunities for marketing mix fine-tuning.
ADV & Packaging Design
Furthermore, you will support the Brand Manager in coordinating the development of global brand campaigns (ADV, Digital & Consumers/Shopper Activations). You will create packaging designs, participate in the evaluation of the works to select the winning ones, and ensure the completion of the activities. Additionally, you will coordinate activities carried out by external suppliers (mockups, artworks, shooting, etc.).
Performance Monitoring
Your role extends to conducting global marketplace analysis, monitoring new launches, and looking for input and new trends. You will carry out monthly/periodic analyses to monitor brand performance and create dashboards with key insights from the analyses conducted.
Budget Management
Lastly, you will monitor costs versus budget and, if necessary, implement corrective actions. You will coordinate with external stakeholders to monitor the status of payments.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring knowledge from a degree in Marketing or related, combined with 3-5 years of experience in Marketing. Your expertise in the FMCG and Brand Marketing environment will be crucial, complemented by your understanding of multiple markets and cultures. Your strong communication and influencing skills will prove essential, alongside your analytical abilities.
You will demonstrate the ability to be result-oriented while managing projects effectively. Your dynamic, flexible, and proactive approach will be key as well, enabling you to work effectively in high-pressure situations within strict deadlines. A genuine interest in project management will further enhance your impact in this position.
Your experience with IT skills will be valuable, particularly your excellent command of PC tools such as Excel and PowerPoint. Your familiarity with Ferrero tools, including PDP, BPC, Wave, and IGM, will be beneficial. Moreover, your excellent knowledge of Nielsen, IRI, Euromonitor, and Power BI will be instrumental in achieving success in this role. Lastly, your familiarity with SAP Architecture, especially SAP Ariba, will be considered an advantage.
