About the Role:
For our Global Headquarters, we are looking for an Ice Cream Marketing Strategist to join our Marketing Strategy Ice Cream Team in Luxembourg. As the Ice cream Marketing Strategist, you will report to the Senior Strategist Ice Cream covering two main areas of competence: support the Senior Strategist in defining long term strategies and support the definition and generation of Commit and Aim innovations. Your role will have a global overview and will embrace a cross-brands portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:
Thanks to your ability to analyze complex data and monitor market dynamics, you will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive environment and Ice Cream category trends, delving into archetypes, market insights, target consumers, and industry players. Your work will directly support the team in assessing impacts on the business and shaping future strategies.
You will play a key role in conducting detailed market, competition, and brand analyses. By leading the reporting and interpretation of sell-out, consumer, and shopper data and interpretating consumer research results, you’ll identify trends and opportunities that inform strategic decisions for Ferrero’s Ice Cream category and brands. Collaborating closely with the Senior Strategist and team, you will provide actionable recommendations grounded in data and insights.
Your involvement extends to innovation and the development of marketing mixes, from conceptual definition to successful consumer validation. Working with internal teams such as R&D and Finance, as well as external partners like graphic and technical agencies, you’ll ensure alignment with technical feasibility and financial frameworks. Additionally, you will contribute to research activities and prepare impactful presentations for Top Management, consolidating data and insights into compelling, well-structured storytelling.
Who we are looking for:
Thanks to your master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, combined with at least 5 years of experience in Marketing and Global/Upstream Marketing within FMCG companies, you have a solid foundation to contribute effectively. Your experience managing projects in an organized and timely manner enables you to handle multiple priorities within tight deadlines, all while maintaining focus and drive in fast-paced environments.
Your background includes working with syndicated databases like IRI or ACNielsen and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. With a sharp marketing mindset and a consumer-driven approach shaped by multicultural experiences, you excel at turning data into actionable insights. Your excellent analytical skills and business acumen empower you to craft recommendations that align with strategic goals.
Fluency in English and strong presentation skills allow you to communicate effectively across diverse teams. You are proficient in MS Office and bring a curious mindset, lateral thinking, and a results-driven attitude to your work.
