Hazelnut Procurement - Buyer

About the Role:

We are looking for an Istanbul based “Hazelnut Procurement -  Buyer" who will be responsible for Black Sea Region and directly reporting to HCo Procurement Manager. The responsibilities and the qualifications are mentioned below;

Main Responsibilities:
  • Applies and implements purchasing policies, vendor management, based on technical, organizational, economical and international financial knowledge, to reach the best possible results according to Group requirements in terms of timing and flexibility
  • Ensures purchase orders management, looks for Request for Proposals from vendors, proposing qualified and suitable alternatives
  • Analyzes, aligns and evaluates offers received, in order to select the best available alternatives
  • Conducts negotiation for local purchase of hazelnut, with suppliers of the Country of responsibility, in alignment with internal procedures and Ferrero Code of Business Conduct
  • Maintains, consolidates and improves relationships with existing suppliers, to ensure continuity, manages criticalities and strengthen common objectives
  • Supports, for item having contracts managed locally, presence of Global Master Agreements, application of qualitative and quantitative contracts standards
  • Monitors operative KPIs (service level, quality, etc.)
  • Supports the workflow information to Central and Local procurement functions (new suppliers, new geographies, new procedures / policies, best practices, etc.)


Who we are looking for:
  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics from a reputable university,
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office Applications,
  • At least 10 years of experience in Strategic Procurement and Sourcing, preferably in direct materials (raw&pack materials)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • No military obligation for male candidates.
  • Advanced in negotiation, planning, problem solving and decision making
  • Has a strong ability of numerical and analytical thinking and detail orientation
  • Eager to research and be able to think in broad perspective
  • Strong communication skills and leadership skills
  • Compatible with the flexible working hour,
  • No restriction for travel ( 2-3 days per week to Black Sea Region)
