About the Role:

The role is managing two functional teams in a multi-brand, multi-category environment. The position is aimed to ensure the full execution of the local Trade Marketing strategy and support the development of respective markets' annual go-to-market plans, empowering the capabilities and tools to drive best practice in-store execution, availability and visibility and identifying channel-category opportunities.

The role drives the commercial development & sales operation planning in the HKTW Cluster. It manages the review of the consolidated sales forecast, providing key highlights and justification to facilitate an internal review of the overall budget process management, ROI analysis and identifying the key risks and opportunities for multiple brands and categories.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop the trade marketing plan, in alignment on the brand plan for multiple Ferrero brands over multi-product categories; identify opportunities and overcome challenges to meet financial objectives

  • Provide definition of the listing recommendation, manage innovation deployment plan for all new products / new market entry

  • Identify market performance, provide analysis and identification of channel growth opportunities

  • Develop activation plan guidelines and local channel plan proposal for respective markets

  • Plan annual touchpoint and promotion plan according to brand and channel strategies, evaluate effectiveness based on the concept of ROI

  • Identify synergies in terms of strategies and resource planning, work on the new initiatives

  • Analyse and present market data from POS, Nielsen and merchandising team to monitor the achievement of targets and recommend actions for improvement

  • Manage assigned annual budget to achieve KPIs, provide scenarios on budget management

  • Drive sales forecasting and S&OP sales process, monitor and validate the rolling forecast

  • Highlight any potential risks and escalate for remediation where required

  • Continuously monitor the market situation to ensure products availability, products freshness and avoid OOS

  • Define the volume plan to be proposed for the P&L creation, in alignment with the budget and category focus

  • Book-keep volume evolution – category / channel / stream / market, integrate Account plans

  • Promptly identify irregular trends, works on scenario plans, suggest remediation actions

  • Monitor the trade spend utilization and effectiveness, ensure timely and accurate reporting on Trade Spend position each month, monitor progress of revenue management

  • Collect and analyze information on markets and competition, develop reports, propose action to improve positioning and/or management of specific performance issues

  • Develop BI analytical and reporting functionality to support commercial decision making

  • Ensure compliance within HKTW commercial team with Group policy and local aligned workflow

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree in business discipline

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in commercial roles in FMCG

  • Strong market knowledge: Traditional & Modern Trade, Impulse Channel, Channel & Customer planning

  • Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, insight orientated reporting

  • Proactivity, accountability, resilience, dynamism and self-motivation, growth mindset,

  • Solid time management skills and project management

  • Good people management skills

  • Advanced MS Office, Power BI skills

  • Fluency in English is required, conversational Mandarin and any other language is considered a plus
