Plant Food Safety & Quality Manager Eurobase

About the Role:
As Food Safety & Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the full quality agenda of the gum base manufacturing plant, ensuring that all products meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
You will report professionally to the Regional Food Safety & Quality Manager for EU Multi-Countries and managerially to the General Manager Eurobase, and act as the key point of contact for all quality-related matters within the site.
Main Responsibilities:
Your mission is to implement and maintain the Quality Management System in line with the Ferrero Group Food Safety & Quality standards, ensuring compliance with hygiene, food safety, and ethical certifications. You will activate all necessary levers to guarantee product quality and process integrity, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness across the plant.
You will ensure that plant personnel are adequately trained in quality and food safety procedures, and that all systems are effectively applied and maintained, including HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and other relevant standards. You will manage non-conformities, oversee the escalation process, and support public authorities during inspections and investigations.
Your role includes leading internal audits, participating in external certification visits, and managing claims and feedback from stakeholders. You will identify issues, propose solutions, and recommend preventive and corrective actions. You will also support production teams with quality-related needs, develop training materials and manuals, and conduct routine inspections, sampling and lab analyses.
You will be responsible for monitoring quality trends, realizing action plans to meet KPIs, and ensuring that all quality data is accurately collected and analyzed. Your ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively will be key to your success.
About You:
With minimum 5 years of experience in Food Safety & Quality within a multinational environment, the ideal candidate has a very good knowledge of food safety, food technology, food chemicals and microbiological analysis and food regulatory, with a strong understanding of quality assurance tools and methods.
Experience in a food or Pharma manufacturing environment is preferred, and familiarity with international and cross-functional collaboration is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams are essential.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is required.
Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Dutch is a clear added value.
