About the Role:

Are you passionate about maintaining quality standards and ensuring the excellence of finished goods? Join our team at Eat Natural, located in the Halsted Plant and part of the Ferrero family, as a Quality Inspector. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity and safety of our products. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting internal checks, monitoring hygiene standards, and executing controls for extraordinary sampling on finished goods. Collaborating closely with the Food Safety & Operation management teams, you will ensure adherence to quality protocols and contribute to maintaining and improving food safety & quality standards across the production process.

Main Responsibilities:

In the role of Quality Inspector for Finished Goods, you will undertake a diverse range of tasks vital to ensuring the safety and reliability of our products. Your key responsibilities will include:

You will be responsible for carrying out a comprehensive sampling plan of finished products (including sending product off to laboratories for testing, and then reviewing results and following action, including reporting results to the wider plant leadership team.

Conducting internal checks to monitor and improve plant hygiene standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and compliance with audit schedules.

You will collaborate closely with the Food Safety & Quality management team and operations to provide detailed daily reports and handovers, facilitating effective communication and workflow coordination.

Conducting Military Standard periodic inspections on finished goods as required by Group Quality standards. You will provide timely support to production teams in addressing Food Safety and Quality issues, including facilitating laboratory analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Coordinating with the Plant Quality Responsible to identify and address any anomalies or quality deviations, contributing to continuous improvement efforts. You will manage quarantined goods and participate in both internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Contributing to the development and implementation of competence action plans, promoting a culture of Food Safety excellence and continuous improvement across the organization. In this role, attention to detail, adherence to quality protocols, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to maintaining the high standards expected of our finished goods.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining Food Safety standards. The successful candidate will possess good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively. Knowledge and previous exposure within a quality role and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are desirable but not mandatory. The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
