Join Ferrero as a Supply Planner and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations for some of the world's most beloved brands.

In this dynamic role, you'll balance commercial needs with industrial constraints to optimise stock levels and freshness, ensuring UK & Ireland market demand is met at the highest standards.  Collaborating closely with central planning teams in Luxembourg, 3PL providers, and demand planning colleagues, you'll drive inventory alignment, manage service protection plans for major events, and oversee supply performance reporting, owning improvement initiatives to enhance results.

If you're a proactive planner with a passion for precision and efficiency, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact at Ferrero!

Main Responsibilities:

You'll manage inventory levels across all manufactured items, ensuring optimum stock freshness and service availability.  Working closely with 3PLs and transport teams, you'll organise stock positioning within the UK&I network, balancing picking availability with warehouse capacity constraints.

You will take ownership of supply planning data within SAP APO, including formal weekly production requests, and track supply chain performance through weekly and monthly reporting.  Effective and timely communication of priorities and critical issues will be key in keeping stakeholders informed.

Seamlessly, you shall coordinate range changes, NPD launches, and product delists, ensuring collaboration between Marketing, Demand Planning, and Sales.  Additionally, you'll oversee service protection plans for major known events, proactively aligning resources to safeguard availability.

You’ll monitor surplus stock, working closely with demand planning to identify commercial opportunities and reduce waste.  Collaboration with Central Planning colleagues is crucial in communicating constrained supply lines and maintaining visibility across the maximum planning horizon.

Tracking and managing seasonal or “sell to zero” lines is essential, ensuring timely alignment on demand and production quantities.  Driving continuous improvement, you will own a detailed CI action plan to enhance processes and performance.

You shall provide absence and holiday cover for other members of the Supply Chain Planning team and deputise for the Supply Chain Planning Manager when required.

Who we are looking for:

You will leverage your strong analytical skills, applying advanced numeracy to tackle complex supply planning challenges. With expertise in multi-tier planning systems within the FMCG environment, you will ensure efficiency and accuracy in forecasting and inventory management. Your proven data modelling skills and high proficiency in Excel and Access will support strategic decision-making and process optimisation.

Building strong relationships and engaging stakeholders will be central to your role. You will work collaboratively across multiple levels to drive alignment and influence key decisions.

Your exceptional organisational abilities will allow you to manage multiple sources of information effectively, ensuring clarity in planning and execution. A commitment to continuous learning and knowledge-sharing will help drive best practices and improvements across the team.

How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:

Your skills and aspirations will be cherished and nurtured, and your contributions will make a lasting impact.  Together, we will continue to push boundaries, innovate, and raise the bar in the confectionary industry.
Join us on this rewarding journey, where the satisfaction of our consumers and the pride in our craftsmanship fuel our success.
