About the Role:
Ferrero is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Manager to take the lead in all financial reporting activities, overseeing both statutory accounts and Group reporting. This exciting role offers the opportunity to drive end-to-end financial reporting processes while also contributing to tax-related matters for the region as needed. If you're ready to make an impact in a globally renowned company, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Main Responsibilities:
At Ferrero, we offer an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our financial landscape. This role is more than just numbers—it’s about driving accuracy, compliance, and strategic decision-making in a dynamic, globally recognised company.
You will be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with group financial standards, IFRS and local UK GAAP, overseeing the entire financial reporting process, including the yearly and external audit and the preparation of local statutory accounts for all legal entities. Your expertise will be key in managing monthly P&L and balance sheets, posting journals in SAP, performing general ledger reconciliations, and publishing consolidated group reports. Beyond routine reporting, you'll play a critical role in investigating and resolving accounting challenges, leading intercompany reconciliations, and collaborating with Shared Services and Group entities to enhance efficiency.
You'll also drive process improvements, oversee interim audits, and deliver insightful ad hoc financial analysis. Ensuring robust internal controls is a fundamental part of the role, safeguarding compliance with Ferrero’s policies and best practices.
Additionally, you will provide ad-hoc support on Tax related issues, assisting with tax compliance, reporting, and regulatory updates. Your collaboration will help ensure alignment with tax requirements while maintaining strong governance and efficiency in financial operations.
Beyond technical expertise, this role offers the opportunity to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, motivation, and professional growth. You’ll be responsible for recruiting, coaching, and developing talent within the finance department, ensuring that Ferrero remains a place where people thrive and grow. By promoting open communication and aligning with Group values, you will empower your team to excel while driving continuous improvement.
At Ferrero, we don’t just offer a job—we offer a career filled with growth, challenge, and international exposure. If you’re passionate about financial reporting, leadership, and contributing to a high-performing finance function in a fast-paced, global environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a finance professional with a strong accounting background who is eager to contribute their expertise in a dynamic environment. If you enjoy working collaboratively, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we'd love to hear from you!
You will ideally have a solid foundation in accounting, with knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and taxation principles, along with experience managing external and internal audits. Proficiency in SAP is important, and familiarity with Oracle HFM would be an advantage. Strong technical skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, are essential. We value individuals with expert financial knowledge who can clearly communicate complex concepts to a wider team.
Strong interpersonal skills are key, as this role requires building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. A keen attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment will set you up for success.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to welcome you to our team!
