Commercial Planning & Revenue Growth Internship

This internship offers meaningful, hands-on experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. You will gain exposure to commercial planning processes, performance tracking and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) tools that help optimise pricing, promotions and product mix.
You will be treated as an integral member of the Commercial team, contributing to real business priorities and gaining insight into how data-driven decision-making shapes commercial strategy. Alongside day-to-day responsibilities, you will collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams to understand how planning and revenue strategy drive performance across customers and channels.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Planning & Revenue Growth Intern, you will support a range of analytical and commercial activities, including:
- Maintaining and enhancing commercial planning and Revenue Growth Management tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Analysing net revenue performance, pricing and promotional effectiveness, identifying trends and opportunities for optimisation.
- Supporting forecasting, planning cycles and KPI tracking to enable informed commercial decision-making.
- Contributing to reporting, benchmarking and preparation for weekly and monthly commercial review meetings.
This role offers practical exposure to pricing strategy, revenue optimisation, commercial planning processes and data-driven performance management within a dynamic FMCG environment.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is motivated to learn, analytically curious, and eager to contribute within a collaborative and commercially driven team environment.
You may be currently studying towards, or have recently completed, a degree-level qualification in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a related discipline. Equivalent experience or alternative academic backgrounds with strong numerical and analytical capability are also welcomed.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and data modelling
- Good working knowledge of PowerPoint; experience with Power BI would be beneficial
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- An interest in commercial strategy and the consumer goods sector

The selection process consists of three stages:
- Screening telephone interviews: March - April 2026
- Online testing: April 2026
- Assessment Centre: April - May 2026
The internship will commence on Tuesday 1st September 2026 and will run for 12 months. During this period, you will be required to work from our sites and offices as defined per role, as on-site presence is a key requirement of the programme.
Right to Work Requirement

This may include, for example, an unrestricted right to work or a visa that permits full‑time employment for the entire programme. In accordance with UK legislation, evidence of the right to work will be required before the internship begins.
